Good point, but the Roosters had 3 spine players out, 1 a living playing legend another a SOO half, and the 3rd a very important cog.

Take Pearce and Ponga out of our side, throw Lino at 7 and i would put $200 on it we would lose by 13+ against most teams.

I think we can be a real chance of a GF this year, the performances the past month have been outstanding.

Our biggest tests come this week and then to back up next week against the storm.
If we're withing 6pts come fulltime in both those games, I'll call us a real threat come September.
 
You can make as many excuses as you want but Lamb was throwing passes to centres under pressure on the fifth tackle. That's just not first grade standard in anyone's language.

That’s the forwards fault is it not?

Or because other spine players were missing weren’t they?
 
TPJ went around full circle for that deal, 600k used to look like unders, then for a bit he played like he was worth 800k only to go into a lull and get the new deal pretty much the same it was over 12 months ago.

600k for him is actually okay, that's not a massive overkill and the guy has a higher ceiling.

Wouldn't personally pay Lodge that much but anyway

That's a massive cut on what TPJ's manager and pundits were predicting.

Based on his form though it's a fair price, when he turns it around the Broncos should be sitting pretty.

Not sure where the Knights were earlier on in terms of an amount, expect it would have been up around the $700k to $800k.

We definitely came out ahead.
 
I wouldn't have complained with TPJ at 600k but more then happy with the guys we have now too anyway.

Lodge must have the same agent as Mbye

Weren't there rumours it'd be closer to 500k, unless the Broncos threw money at him with the lures of Sydney
 
Every Broncos big name player probably earns $1m when you factor in payments outside the cap

I remember reading Gillett was listed as 600k didn't he get 850k?
