Real tough game this and the following week.

No Ponga, Lee, Pearce, Glasby, Klemmer and Dan S. Coises on SOO particular if we miss the eight by a game or two.
 
As long as Lino has a good kicking game and our middle stands up? Things will go ok.

Id be doing a few 3rd and 4th tackle long kicks early in the game to pin the warriors in there half and try force some mistakes.

Id also go back to the old plan of putting the ball into touch a bit to get our line set and keep some control of the tempo that way.
 
Lots of suggestions and anticipation on team but have we actually named the replacements, officially, for our late call ups to SOO. What is the actual 17 + 4. I can’t find the official amended team.
 
Toohey actually says in that article that Watson goes to hooker, Mann to fullback and Crossland to 5/8 when Levi goes off.
That seems like a lot of changes, but all 3 guys go to their best positions IMO.
In the game against Wests in reserve grade 2 weeks ago Crossland made a season high 25 tackles and missed a season low 1 tackles.
That was a game where Wests played a lot of firstgraders and the Knights put up a pretty fair effort as well.
Over the season he has been missing 4 or 5 tackles a game and is number 6 for missed tackles and ineffective tackles in the comp, but early in the season he was leading both those stats, so he is improving rapidly.
He's a skinny 18 year old, so all he can do is do his best against the big boys who will run at him, and hopefully he gets a lot of help.
 
That’s a sh*tload of changes and reshuffling. Don’t see the need to bring in Crossland when he’s not ready to defend against the big boppers. Just leave Mann and Watson where they are and stick with Sione in the forwards and bring Moga in. The more experience and the less fartin’ around the better.
 
I like that team.
Lino to play dominent half.
Buhrer big defensive half with a good kick in him (Skd's try against Tigers).
Sione not in the centres.
Ese starting.
Mann at Centre is still a bit odd.
Momoisea to get a start if Guerra isn't right.
 
Glad Ese is starting. Not a bad 17 considering how many players are missing. Not a lot of points in them I’d think so defence will be paramount.

7 Lino

I've said plenty of times that buhrer would do a job at 6 for us though i think Mann can offer more and be less disruptive to the spine.
 
If Toohey says Crossland is playing I believe him, that won't be the team, they've just slotted players down into temporary spots until the final team lists come in before kick-off. Teams always do it.
 
It's possible that Brown hasn't even settled on a plan yet.
The Warriors coach is probably doing late night sessions trying to work out what their gameplan is going to be - either that, or they'll just target Lino and Gavet because they know what those guys faults are.

One of the cornerstones to our success has been big wingers acting like extra forwards. He probably thinks Hunt can do a similar job without ****ting the bed like Moga might out there.
 
Moga will play centre.
The only reason they aren't naming him in the starting side is because the Sydney papers would all do negative stories about him if they did.
Levi will start at hooker and Watson will replace him.
Lino will play halfback and do as much of the playmaking as he can, with someone else being a support playmaker.
Sione and Fitz will both play second row for 80 minutes.
