I'm interested to see how he goes. Unsure he needs to try a "new" position at origin level but hey I'm not the coach. It's funny to see 1-5 have played fullback at stages in their career. Maybe not all in firsts but Freddy has made some decent changes. Hard to pick experience guys though as most are injured.

Fullbacks read the plays better then most defensively as they have to predict whats coming to direct the front line to defend it, they're usually good with ball in hand also.
So having big fullbacks in the centres isnt a silly move.

Hayne was awesome
GI also awesome.
Hodges was a fullback turned centre.
Tommy Turbo has proven for Australia that his capable at centre.
 
Experience, why not Morris and Latrell at centre, why two f/bs at centre, don’t have a problem with 1, 2 & 5. Injuries dictated 6 & 7 but why didn’t they play in SOO1 as incumbents. Pack is good but bench is suspect, happy with Finucane and Graham but needed two big strong props for other two. Going in with no specialist props on bench and a rookie starting is asking for trouble and will require long minutes from 8, 10 & 13.
Our centres lack experience in position, good players but one throws an intercept game 1 with game on line and the other is coming back from injury having played just 2 games.
Very strange selections even allowing for injuries.
 
Jack has played more centre than any other position in the nrl. More surprised Glasby got picked after the absolute shocker he had on Saturday. Must have had soap on his hands. All i see is a heap of knights getting pick to get injured. Hate origin for that reason.

I thought Glasby was outstanding on Saturday..........for them.
 
Glasby was outstanding for 6 weeks before the Storm game .
Wighton I read has played around 40 games at centre so he should be right and Tommy Turbo could play anywhere and do the job I reckon .
Latrell didn't play well before Soo I didn't think and was **** in Origin he deserved to be dropped and is now (if you can believe the news ) carrying on like a spoilt child ...If he really is thinking about never playing Origin again because he got dropped , then make it so and don't pick the spoilt Bratt again ...
