2019 NSW Cup

It was nice for us non Hunter fans to see the reserves on tv, was a good game, Ese’ese played well as did Jones and Fermor, Gagai is bit iffy and Crossland has a big boot when taking free kick for line. Nice to see JSaf back will be better after a couple of more runs.

Andrews injured?
I think he must have been carrying an injury for a while. He missed the pre season games and since then he has had a lot of missed tackles, so my guess would be he has a weak arm or something like that. His metres and tackle breaks have been outstanding, but lots of missed tackles.
Last year in reserve grade Andrews played 6 games, made 75 tackles, missed 7 and averaged 92 metres.
This year he has played 4 games, made 45 tackles, missed 20, and averaged 133 metres.

Great to see Matt Croker finally making his senior debut.

Game is underway.
Lam is out for the Roosters, so we don't have to worry about the Lamb/Lam combination that has been so effective so far this year.
It will be interesting to see how Randall and Loughrey go against Lamb, who they both played plenty of games with last year.

I'd like to think that all these young prospects missing games - Crossland, Best, Sasagi, Toa, Harry Croker, Jaron Purcell etc - is because we want to get 10 good years out of these guys, so send them for treatment for any injury as soon as they get them.

Loughrey and Saulo are off, replaced by Saifiti and Croker - so no idea who is playing 5/8.

Gunna guess either Stone or Jones are playing 5/8 - they both played there in under 18s

10-10 after 38 - Matt Croker scores his first try in seniors - Woolford kicks the goal.
