Ex-Knights Watch

Yep checking in for all the Gaigai comments lol

Knew someone would say something after that game

Tpj was a nuclear weapon last night but I'll reserve judgement until he produces that week on week.

I want to take whoever told latrell Mitchell he was too lazy behind the sheds and give them a flogging.

Meaney lifts for big games. The best games of his life were his rep games for NSW under 20s and residents and his games in firstgrade for us.
When he plays reserve grade he looks right at home there. He was the same in under 20s - good, but nothing special.

I think Meaney is much more at home for the dogs in #1 than Hopoate is.

As for our other notable discards, I've yet to see anything that makes me regret letting them go other than TPJ's game against North Queensland on the weekend.
Gagai has been average without being a standout, still can't defend. Roberts still made of glass and Elliot was shocking in round one and got a pass mark in round two.

I didn't think Johns did much, but he's been named in the starting side this week - number 11.
Brock looked great. A change of clubs has done him good.
Unpopular view but Lamb is a good footballer and I wish we kept him

Korbin Sims back on the bench for the dragons
Lamb gets on the extended bench for the Roosters
Tom Turbo back for Manly for Elliott dropped to extended bench (he had been awful). Hodko on extended bench too.
Tapine injured so misses out on playing his old club.

Who'd have thought Hudson Young would be the 3rd member of our 2014 national title winning under 16s to make firstgade - only behind Saulo and Starling - but Ahead of Jones, McIntyre, O'Hagan, Gibbs, Musgrove, Matt Cooper, Kurtis Dark etc.

Was he that good, have followed juniors a bit over last 5-6 years, don’t recall him, admittedly we have such things as late bloomers

He wasn't a standout in that side - neither was Saulo - neither was Musgrove, or McIntyre - the best players in that side were Jones, Starling, O'Hagan, Matt Cooper and Heath Gibbs, but the others all look like firstgraders now.

I notice Easts tigers have 4 wins from 4 games in Qld cup - 4ex Knights Matt Cooper, Tom Hughes, Josh Rolph and Tyrone Amey. Tom Hughes is keeping up his average with 3 tries from 4 games.
Lauclan Walmsley, Cory Denniss and Jack Johns went OK for Souths today _ Johns at halfback this week got 51 fantasy points(nsw cup).
Braden Robson scored 3 tries playing hooker for Wests in nsw cup, and their only other try was scored by Sam McIntyre playing second row.
Lamb Kicked the 79th minute winning field goal for Norths.
Tom Starling and JJ Collins both went well for Canberra against us - Starling killed us in fact with 71 fantasy points - O'Hagan didn't set the world on fire.
