2019 Pre Season and Trials

Which Jennings. Robert/george is ok. I'd have Ross on par with them. Michael is done.
Michael. Put a good chunk of any centres in the game playing for that team last year and they’d look no better. What part is he done in? His defensive reads are top class. Speed is so so but the dude is only 30. His name hasn’t been in rep circles nearly his whole career for no reason.

If success was based on just effort and not ability, he'd be getting bigger raps.

Unfortunately for him, with the strengthening of the team he'd be lucky to get more than a couple of runs as injury or rep cover. King's more likely to win local comp participation ribbons rather than NRL premierships.

He might get more runs than you think. If we're saying Gavet is in the team at the expense of one of Barnett & Sione, Jacob Saifiti also injured, then next cab off the rank for front row is a choice between him & rookie Saulo.

Didn't Gavet get 9th place in the entire comp for meter's gained last season that would put him infront of every forward in our team besides Klemmer ..Going by that he should be starting beside Klemmer .
Although I think Daniel and Klemmer should start together as Klemmer will teach Daniel a lot especially aggression and Glasby and Gavet would keep the good work going and imo Ese,ese should be lock .

Can’t teach aggression. You can either get yourself up or you can’t. I can’t see him ever being an angry forward. More of the Petro mould hopefully.

We have both now so it's all good! I love gavet as an impact forward but if he wants to start and show us his got it then I'm all for it. I'd also have esese as rotating in the middle. So bench him imo. 8. Klemmer 9. Levi 10. Gavet. 11. Fitzgibbon. 12. Guerra. 13. Glasby. 14. Mann. 15. Dan saf. 16. Ese ese. 17. Barnett/Sione/someone keen to prove themself.

Tom Glasby, 29 and only just joined his second NRL squad but is labelled a journeyman?

Yet billy has the hide to whinge about me and call me a troll when he rolls out stuff like this?

I'm disappointed Cowboy. Disappointed I can only like this once.

Glasby has had a similar career to Ben Cross - kicked around in lower grades for years - signed for Melbourne - went OK - left Melbourne - bad move.

For once a resemblance of a FG forward pack at the Knights. Should actually win a few forward battles this year.

Moga plays 3 ordinary games after precisely zero off-season. Worst player to ever pull on the blue and red, should be sacked immediately and fired into the sun.
Sione plays 50 ordinary games in the centres and still can't make a defensive read. It's all someone else's fault, he's a superstar, he played for Australia you know, he's only 18/19/20/21/22...

If Moga fails to get the all clear in time to resume his career, former South Sydney centre Hymel Hunt is understood to be the frontrunner to fill the vacant centre role for the season opener.

Won't be long until Hunt is getting rubbished.

To be honest Dan, Tiim never played NRL for Penrith, never played for Cowboys. Released from contract on compassionate grounds by Cowboys so only Storm and us for NRL.

mozza Billy can never wait to give a sour opinion of anyone and conveniently overlooks Tim played for Storm since 2013, a couple of GF and SOO for the maroons. Far better than any of our locals have done since 21013!

I'd never noticed Glasby before we signed him.
I'm sure i'd watched many games in which he'd played, but my first thought was still "who".
Even after watching a few games where I tried to watch what he did, I still can't say I've seen anything that sticks out.
Maybe it's a good thing that he does his job and you wouldn't know he was there if someone didn't call his name occasionally.
