2017/2018 Knights Player signing speculation

I've watched Lolohea closer this year & it appears to me he has no heart. He basically moves out of the way of players running at him & just sits around not doing much, avoiding doing anything until someone passes him the ball. I can see now why coaches don't like him & he'd probably be a disaster here.

Yeah he's struggled, he's not a winger though. He's looked brilliant at Fullback previously. If we sign him for the rest of the year with his ability it's certainly minimal risk for a potentially big reward.

I agree. We can't save this years cap for next year. After watching Sio in the opening 5 rounds and Gagan this week, Lolohea surely must be worth a punt. Even if we have to sign him for next year as well to get him here, I think it's the sort of calculated risk Browny can afford.

This is what i struggle to understand,

There are a few guys available atm that could get a nrl game with us and we have money going down the drain if we dont use it.

Maybe we could use the rest of our cap to pay hodko out and send him to England?
Ohh the joy some will get from this thought haha

Then what happens in 2018 if we get him and at a slight chance we get Bird?
 
Spoke with a mate today whom said we mite have a big name signing up front coming mid season... a Sydney based team is all i got out of him.

Maybe toohey mite have some info?

Tui moves to the centres to accomodate him. I can't see us getting Bird sadly all of this stuff in the media is to force the Sharks hand in giving him a larger offer. If not one of the bigger Sydney clubs will miraculously find the money to sign him.
 
Tedesco has said he only wants to play for a top 8 club if he leaves. And we have ponga so dont need to waste the $$$
Woods on the other hand. Id do anything to get him here!
 
Everyone on here bags Prior but the Sharks wasted no time resigning him but some how he isn't good enough for us ..
