Knights In The World Cup

usually it's Fiji on the other end of a smashing, good to see them getting some tries and no surprise hearing Marika Koroibete scoring a few.

- Fiji have won 5 out of their last 8 matches overall

- In their 4 losses since 2006 they have lost by 2 points on 3 occasions, the only flogging since 2006 was that semi against Australia

- In recent times that means that they have only been flogged once in the last 7 years

- Pre 2006 was when they copped the floggings, Now it is a different story

must be out of my mind, bad memory maybe and wow there record's pretty good.

Really hope Fiji cause a couple of upsets in their group. Could see them catching Australia by surprise.

Is Kevin Naiqama likely to be in the starting 17? I know he has got Uate and Koribete ahead of him for the wing spots but who is playing fullback for Fiji?

The squad numbers would suggest;
1 Waqa
2 Koroibete
3 Naiqama
4 Naiqama
5 Uate

But i'd have Kev at 5/8.

Kevin will surely be fullback, it's his best position and they don't really have anyone else. No team can afford to give Naiqama, Koriebete and Uate the slightest bit of space.

I thought the French side looked ok, for the simple fact 16 of 24 players picked were all from catalans dragons which would give them the benefit of combination, rotation and just general plays so I think france might do ok against some of the minows. i think the dark horse's in the world comp are deffinatly somoa and Fiji but deffinatly don't ride off Italy i think they can cause a few headaches, Italy Fiji and Soma all have strong line ups so upsets could be on the cards.

Kevvie will 100% be fullback with most likely Daryl Millard and Wes Naiqama in the centres, Aku is 100% for the wing spot, so that leaves one wing spot open for either Sisa Waqa or Marika Koribete to fill.

Ryan Millard and Aaron Groom will be the halfs, which will be the smallest halfs pairing in the WC. Api Koroisau being either hooker or even bench utility.

1. Kevin Naiqama
2. Akuila Uate
3. Wes Naiqama
4. Daryl Millard
5. Sisa Waqa/Marika Koroibete
6. Ryan Millard
7. Aaron Groom
8. Petro Civeneceva
9. Api Koroisau/James Storer
10. Ashton Sim
11. Tariq Sims
12. Jason Bukuya
13. Korbin Sims

14. James Storer/Api Koroisau
15. Eloni Vunakece
