Round 4: Newcastle Knights v Canberra Raiders - Hunter Stadium

It's pretty obvious even the refs want to see the shoulder charge in the game.

The Buderus one was a clear example of one.

Yeah i caught his tackling technique last night it kinda looks like a judo takedown or something close, with the force and speed he does it in its so cool that its for us instead of against us

Duke of Earl spilt the ball on tackle 1 because he had 1 1/2 eyes on the bloke in front of him that being Smith who belted him. Short time later try time.

I dont think it was a shoulder charge - where was the 'charge'? It was typically seen as a player coming out of the line to put a shot on, not someone holding their ground.

I've always thought Gidley was a whinger when it came to talking to the ref about penalties, but McCrone took it to a whole new level last night, and he's not even the captain. Every time something happened, or didn't happy, McCrone was up at the ref having a whinge. Surely he should of got penalised for always talking to the ref.

Speaking of that game, Uate was shaky under the high ball again. I said it before the game, he drops heaps when they put a bomb up & the chasers are running up hard & fast. It's a massive, massive weakness & idk how we can stop it.

Yeah I'm never confident when he gets pressure under a bomb, but for everything else he does for the team I guess it's excusable. Boyd and anyone else near him need to get there quickly and support him, either to get in the way of the opposition or tidy up the ball

Yeah iam always nervous as well, it looked like he (aku) was angry at his performance a couple of times during and alot after the game just looking at his body language he was beating himself up, which cant be good for his confidence

Yeah I saw that too, he was furious at himself at times. But getting the win and the boys encouraging him surely brought his confidence back up and it's minor mistakes like those of last night that will hopefully fuel him to play even better and not make them again.

I was thinking the same, after he dropped that bomb you could tell his confidence went out of him. He looked really upset with himself.
