Uate dropped from Origin 3 NSW team

I go both ways on this, probably due to biased views though. I love Uate as a player, shows speed, power and heart every time he has the ball, and NSW has to keep the same team to create chemistry and a strong wall. However, bringing Brett Morris in for him is the smartest thing to do right now. Uate's been broken down in both games this year too many times and a pairing of the Morris twins already has chemistry, so there;s not much to work on there.

But seriously, In my opinion, look out for Uate because he will be there next year.

Not surprising, you can bet Brett Morris gets the ball a tonne on the wing. Shame he was dropped, his 2 errors led to tries, but there was so many errors on both teams that could of led to tries. Do we drop Stewart for his error at the start that Taylor should of scored on, or Haynes multiple errors that Stewart cleaned up. Slaters multiple errors that put Qld under pressure?

He has been the worst player on the field in both origins. I would've been mad if he wasn't, Brett Morris is good, glad he was picked. I could've selected beau ryan as well, he's in great form

Uate hasn't been that great this year and made some simple errors in Origin and Bmoz has been in great form. I agree with the decision

Not surprising - got zero attacking ball in either of the first two games so he had nothing to warrant his selection with, and his wing is pretty much the sole source for QLD tries. A chink in the armour and had to be dealt with really. You could probably argue he mightve came good for the third and final game, but seeing how its happened twice in a row now, and the weight of the game, it was a plausible decision.

Was the right call leaving him out, he is a risk and has looked off the pace.

But let's not forget Morris' screw ups in the decider last year.

At least he will have his brother Josh next to him.

Risky thing is now both Morris' are playing on the wrong side, that's if they stay on the right side that is. Probably hinders Josh a bit in attack from what we've seen this series so far.

Josh did very well in game 2 and looks solid as a right as he does on the left. Guess we'll just have to see for Brett.

Hopefully he doesn't do a Jimmy Mac and takes 2 years to figure out how to play on the other side.

Just reading that this is the first time in 21 years that there hasn't been a Knights player in the NSW team

I wonder if any other NRL side could have matched that streak? We'd even have taken out Brisbane, because no Superleague sides were represented in 1997.

Maybe the Roosters would be able to, I don't think any others would get close, though!
