Trial #1: Knights v Panthers - Port Macquarie

Bit disappointed, but I wouldn't take much out of it tbh. It's only a trial game.

Heaps of teams go bad in their trials and end up having successful seasons.
 
Yeah, not the end of the world but starting with a win would have been nice.

Attention draws to next weeks trial against Cronulla, can't wait!
 
I'd rather a draw in a trial than a loss in the regular season.
i remember in 2008, Souths flogged the sharks 44-0. Sharks went onto make the prelim final and souths came 3rd last.
At least we didnt concede 50 points or something and in all honesty if Roberts is the only injury its not the end of the world, he's the 4th choice halfback behind Mullen,Gidley and Stig. Does anyone know if Stig's going to play against the Sharks ?
 
It's a trial! I can assure you if this exact situation came along in the Dragons game 99 times out of 100 we would of taken the kick.
 
I hope the players didn't take the attitude it's only a trial into the game. Once you cross the sideline you play to win. I'm filthy after all Penrith are a hundreds to make the 8.

Yeah ... I still wish they were televised though. :p

Nice to have us officially underway for 2012, anyway!!! :D
 
When the Knights play, i want them to win, every time. So i don't care if it's a trial or not! I am disappointed but we'll get better!
 
i just back from tigers/eels was a good game 20-12 tigers won and they are my 2nd team so that was pretty good, also got alot of signatures
 
It was kind of disappointing but at least win didn't lose, well, sort of anyway. In all honesty, the player I though was the best in the first side was Bedsy, he was looking great! It was a very "edge-of-your-seat" game and frustrating at most points. The refs loved their whistles. Also, we need to work on sliding in defence, that's why the Panthers scored some soft tries, because the lack of communication with the inside men and holding the ball, too many hospital balls were thrown and a lot of dropped balls.

It was only a Trial anyway, no points count. Great to see some Football back though! :)
