You know Gus is exactly right. When we start drifting across field straight away looking for the magic pass or break it usually means that we're off our game. We'll probably know within our first set whether we're up mentally for this one or not.

I'm actually not very confident at all, but I'm really hoping we can beat Penrith and storm into the finals, because I honestly believe that we can do some serious damage if we get in there.

Come on you Knights! :dancing:

I don't know how you can't be confident, Woody. Our home record this year, our record with the 1988 heritage jersey, our record in the final home game of the year, Penrith's recent poor form, the finals on the line ... to me it all points to a Knights win.

I don't think there's any chance whatsoever that they won't be mentally up for it.

Everything u just said i totally agree with... the only thing im worried about is that when we are this favoured to win we have lost. ie Warriors, eels (first time round), roosters etc. I dont think well lose but im a tiny bit worried just cos we are expected to win

i agree with you too james but thats putting alot of pressure on the players but they should pull through
UP THE KNIGHTS!

Mentally is the problem. Being up for the game shouldnt be the problem but I think its the nerves and pressure that will show who is better.

I don't knwo that we're all that favourites (for some reason). It was 50/50 with who they thought would win on the Sunday Roast today, but nobody was all that sure.

I'm sure, definitely a Knights win.

This doesn't have the hallmarks of a game we'd go into over-confident of winning, to me.

By the way, I forgot all you people in Aus and not at the game will be watching it delayed.

Just off to watch it live over here in NZ .... heh heh.

F*****K.

De Gois's injury is pretty serious. Carried off. Made it worse after he slightly tore the ligament in the first half..Probably gone for the season :fist::fist::fist:

Mad Dog in now.

23-0 with a kick to come

According to Gould at the beginning of the match doors were closed, full capcity crowd of about 22,500.

lets hope Zeb can come back next week, Zeb or Patto to lock, Hilder to Hooker, Nadira on the bench.

EDIT: Extent of DeGois injury still unknown according to DiVico (from Knights doctors) on ABC radio

De Gois still a chance of playing next week...hes just worsened the ligament damage thuogh.

I'd have Ndaira at hooker. He was pretty decent for us when he came on to replace De Gois earlier this season.

Patto can come off the bench, though im not coninvced he'd make much impact coming on. Hes better off starting somewhere...i'd prefer him over Karawana and Naiqama anyday though.
