Pride's negotiations should have been over; not sure of the outcome because of the Anzac Day weekend. Not even sure if a contract has actually been negotiated. He seems more interested in carving up the opposition for Casey's Warriors in the Melbourne senior competition. Scored three tries in...

Well it looks like Pride could be signed for a Sydney club soon. He has definately finished playing for the Knights - I thought a recall was possible. The Storm is out too. Quite frankly he wasn't really fully accepted when he came to Newcastle. The 2012 Storm SG Ball Player of the Year; the...

Can Levi last 80 mins? He has proven to be a bit of a cry-baby over the captaincy. Pity two of the top forwards have been lost, one to the Doggies and one to the unknown.

The NYC boys are doing well. But injuries to key players can often put a team off-track. Harry Pondekas is doing well down at the Doggies. What was the problem with him at the knights? Hopefully some news about Pride's future in a few weeks. Has kept things close to his chest.

When you have a gutless swine like Packer able to return to the NRL after being in prison for a cowardly assault, how can you possibly condemn young players who may get into a bit of strife off-field?

Just saw Harry Pondekas named in the Doggies NYC team. Getting regular time down there. Doing alright apparently. Change of environment can often do wonders for some players.

Perhaps experience will prove to be the key for the NYC backs.

Chance Peni was a great loss.

So Harry and Pride weren't missed?

Thrashed them last year. Mind you it was a good team.

The Dogs appear to be picking up a few Newcastle players. Sione and his two brothers appear to be going to the Dogs too. How many more I wonder/

And a promising NYC player has gone to the Dogs - Harry Pondekas; and another has also left the Knights.

Has the Knights contract-renegotiations driven at least two senior NYC players from the club? Did they offer releases from contracts after telling players their salaries were being reduced? No wonder Harry Pondekas was missing in action; he was away looking for another club and contract. Pride...

Player poaching He was contracted for six years at the age of 14 yrs and went to Melbourne for three seasons at 15 yrs before transfering to Newcastle a year ago. No doubt he will sound Melbourne out, or rather his manager will. The Dogs have taken some former young Storm players this season...

As far as I know he is in Melbourne. His manager was involved and I believe he will be back playing SOMEWHERE in a few weeks?
