Two things that stuck out a lot from the games I watched on the weekend is that teams can longer just dump their weakest link on the wing. You need a strong team across the park. The Broncos, Roosters and Dragons all did a great job of using the full width of the field.

The second thing was how important speed is. I was concerned about our middle and still am, so I hadn’t given the lack of speed much thought. After watching the other teams I think the lack of pace is a real problem.

Will be good to have Liv back but not overly optimistic about this game. Just like the men, they seem to have a bad habit of losing up there.

Is there some rule that the Cowboys can’t play in Newcastle?
