Nah, I watched. KP was nothing special, and poor in defence. That is to be expected when you are injured. He played awesome for a bloke with one arm. But we would have been better off with a bloke with two.
You really think it is a coincidence that the Raiders almost beat us when we played with so many injured players. And only one of them finished the game.
Anyone that thinks its smart to play players that have a low chance of finishing the game or playing to at least 50% of their ability must have two ****s.
So you would rather miller out there with 2 arms stinking it up and choking.

I was one who didn't want ponga playing unless he was at least 90% so happy he played

Mann was always the right choice for us at 14. Feel like he’s delivered more often then not in high pressure moments. It’s the standard week in week out games where he gets moved every other game that he’s always sucked. He was terrific today.
He is a great 14 but not a starter in any position.
Similar to Watson.
Unfortunately for them they won't be making the big $

Are you being serious or just trying to stir? KP single handedly dragged us out of the **** and got us back into the game.

Wake up, if we didn't play our injured players we don't win.

Official crowd number?
The crowd got us home.

Im just back in from the game.

Holy cow what a game of footy to be at. Outside of the 2 GF wins, I'd rank that game as 3rd in my favourite Knights games to have attended.

The crowd was like a cauldron. Without doubt the loudest Newcastle chants I've heard, the whole stadium as one, and frequent.

Not sure if you picked it up on the Telly but after the Wighton bite, he was copping it, there was several Wighton's a Wayne Ker booming out.

Best atmosphere I have ever been at a Knights home game.

As for the game itself. I thought we played them in to the game with our errors, and gifted tries. They played well and no mistake footy, churned over their sets and we didn't so they were given too many chances at us. Can't afford to do that. Half time I was worried.

But after half time I thought were were in control until they leveled, then I was on the edge of my seat. My throat is hoarse.

That bite! How a player can bite another player, clearly leaving visible marks on the skin, and stay on the field is far beyond me. I can only rationalise it by the thinking the ref didn't want to spoil the finals game with a send off. But that was a send off. I'm stupified, and we didn't even get a penalty, though Wighton was put on report. A disgrace!

But the right team got the result, on to the Warriors now and I'm sure we can get them.

Hastings injury, any more news? Gamble also injured but finished the game, and one of the safs seems to tweak a hammy. Any others?

Newcastle, Newcastle, Newcastle. I could live in that game forever.

Player ratings by fox sports
6. TYSON GAMBLE - 6.5

Put a kick out on the full just before halftime and in the second half accused Raiders star Jack Wighton of biting him in the 47th minute. Gamble did charge down a Jamal Fogarty field goal in extra time and also produced a crucial linebreak assist and try assist.

I know that the fox staff are borderline illiterate, but I read that as a mark down for being bitten.
What I saw plus what I've read, he was more than 6.5… although Fox probably had him at 9 if Wighton wasn’t hungry

Sticky called it a cauldron. Sounded immense. Shame it’s last home game this year. Need that top 4 next year!!

Just watched the presser. Gamble fine for next week, no mention on any issues other than Jackson. Clune to come in. Lots of rest and time to be spent getting them right physically and mentally.

Wow what a game thought the knights in the first half they looked like the occasion got to them with silly errors really sucked they energy out of them and the back half of the game it really showed but showed some grit when the game was on the line bring in next weekend
