NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS V SOUTH SYDNEY 7.55 PM Fri 8th July - MJS Newcastle

AOB should've got Brailey on in the first half when we started falling apart about 20 mins in and Randall was the cause of it. And yet, AOB persists with his preconceived plan of only playing Brailey for 30 mins in the second half, despite the emergency on field that required Brailey to be injected in the first half

Seems an odd thing to say after a disappointing loss, but I think we have a pretty good squad now.
If they were well coached, we have some exciting players.
I loved some of the stuff they did today - not so much the going to sleep at crucial times and not sustaining effort - but some of the attack was exciting as.

The short kick of retrieve by Souths and the intercept, game gone. Mann never looked right shouldn’t have played and due to that bench was a back short with Hooker and three fwds

100% agree Billy and that’s what’s so frustrating. There’s enough talent in this playing group and a lot of individuals had a blinder. Give Bellyache the same group of players and we extract way more benefit from the stuff our best players did so well, and we minimise the negative impact of guys making up numbers in the 17 & those guys do their job a lot better. Scored enough to win and simply didn’t do enough to make it hard for Souths to score more than that.

AOB mentally weak is pretty much what he is saying, they want easy wins and don't want to do the hard stuff.

Losing a drop out isnt a set back, you still have that team inside their 20m its just mentally weak and a **** poor excuse.

About 40% of their cap out lol

End of the day we scored a long try, then two from kicks... So the attack wasnt exactly on fire either.
