I honestly think Val isn’t worth that, and it’s a looooong contract. Tied up till the end of 2025 at least I believe. You jump on him and then you don’t have the money when a true marquee star comes along…
Doueihi signed by Tigers until end of 2023 - agree he is developing into a very good first grader, in spite of the team he is playing withWhats Adam Doueihi contract like? wouldnt be against as making an play for him
6 Doueihi
7 Cliford
1 Ponga
Once Pearce leaves/retires that is.
Doueihi has been awesome when given the opportunity to play at 5/8 but he is currently out with a 2nd ACL injury to his left knee. After being stung by signing players with previous ACL injuries I'm sure I've heard the club say they wouldn't go down that road again.Doueihi signed by Tigers until end of 2023 - agree he is developing into a very good first grader, in spite of the team he is playing with
Apparently on $700k now and 2022.I wouldn't mind seeing what Kikau is going for .
Yuck. What is with these blokes. 900kAsking for $900k
Cowboys will pay it.Yuck. What is with these blokes. 900k
10 year contract, thanks for comingCowboys will pay it.
CHT is a terrible halfback.Looking strictly at players without a chance of premiership success, I think either Jamayne Isaako (at FB) or Chanel Harris-Tavita (at HB) would be the best pickups of that bunch. They wouldn't be first choice though if we signed them, nor do I think we should chase them hard, if at all.
I’d like to think Cowboys won’t pay 900k for him.$900k is ridiculous IMO.
He is to inconsistent for my liking.
Hasn't been playing 80mins either.
But a player is worth what ever someone is willing to pay.
Cowboys might feel they need to go big to get a backrower after missing Capewell and Finucane.
Are Cows looking at getting Sims back?
Sounds like Sims is a bridge burner where ever he goes.I’d like to think Cowboys won’t pay 900k for him.
Nanai is the real deal and will kill it next year if he has a good pre season. Barely played last year due to covid and then makes his debut at 18 after being out injured for the previous 7 weeks and more than held his own with some highlight plays along the way.
Sims has more chance of joining you guys again then heading north. Burnt his bridges on departure.
Both are gems and hopefully locked down long term.Sounds like Sims is a bridge burner where ever he goes.
Yep both your young backrowers looked like they had potential.
I'm not sure which is which but I think both names started with Nan?
Maybe one of them is worth a look for us if Cowboys sign Kiks.
Honestly I think Kikau is fading anyway. Both are gems and hopefully locked down long term.
I doubt Payten will throw the cheque book at Kikau now after seeing what they could do at the back end of this season.
Kikau could well bet on himself and lose big time if he decides to leave. Taking the cash at a side like the Tigers could see him fade off to nothing in 3 years time.
Cowboys should've held out for him instead of Townsend. He's cheaper and younger, so there's that.CHT is a terrible halfback.
