Knight in Shining Armour - Tyson Frizell

Once a Knights Old Boys Gladiator of the Year - Tyson Frizell

Club Person of the Year - Chris Randall

Rookie of the Year - Brodie Jones if he’s eligible, but I’m pretty sure he’s not, so Dominic Young.

Knight in Shining Armour - Jayden Brailey for the chase down try saving tackle in the Warriors game.

Community Player of the Year - Josh King.

Once a Knights Old Boys Gladiator of the Year - Jayden Brailey.

Club Person Of The Year - Chris Randall.

Player’s Player - Jacob Saifiti.

Danny Buderus Medal - Jayden Brailey.

Mitch Barnett is the one who sticks out as out of place. Figure I’ll just come out and say it rather than snarkily allude to it hahaha.

Departing players celebrated were Watson, King, Shiba and Green - no mention of Hoy, Johns or Croker - so I suppose their fate isn't sealed yet.

I think they’ll stay, they just won’t get top tier deals. Crokes may get a development deal though. He’d deserve it.

It's a little bitter sweet considering his last game was probably his worst of the season but it was his first finals appearance, I am sure he will probably be better if we get there again next year.

Didn't he play in the final last year?

I notice Matt Croker was up there to get his award in person, and he looked really fit.
There was speculation a couple of months ago that they were trying to get him up there and it looks like they did.
Danny Buderus was talking about how some of the young guys had benefitted from being in camp in Qld and said the good form of guys like Jirah, Jack Johns etc in the Brisbane game was down to them getting so much good training in camp.
Crokes is a player I think would get a lot out of living and breathing footy in a camp for a few months.

I believe Croker only got up there a couple of days before the final. He had to quarantine for 2 weeks before that as well. But I agree really hope he gets a deal for next year and is not lost to us.
