Clifford did double the kicks of Crossland last week.
He is our main playmaker.
You can't use Crossland as the scapegoat when there is a fair chance that Clifford, Ponga and maybe even Watson will do more of the playmaking.

I'm not putting the blame on crossland, guess my point was more around whoever wears that jersey I won't have any confidence in a win unless Pearce is there.

I think crossland will hand the play making over to the ones you mentioned, but I think he needs to run the ball as much as possible because he looks pretty quick if he gets in the clear.

Clifford has been here for 5 games. He is averaging over 400 kick metres per game and nearly 50 fantasy points per game.
Ponga has averaged 53 fantasy points and has 6 try assists in his 7 games this year - and he was just about the best playmaker for Qld last week.
Even Watson is suddenly making a try assist nearly every game - more try assists this year than the rest of his Knights career.

I mean, Crossland will have a role, but Clifford is the main man, when Pong wants to get involved, he will be the most likely to be a game breaker, and Watson will bring the energy.

If they still need Daddy Pearce to have any hope, what the hell are we paying them the big bucks for.

Very valid points, but unfortunately we only ever look like a team when Pearce is on the field. When missing we look clueless.

Also really starting to get turned off AOB, I think he has no idea how to coach as week in week out we do the same crap.

The excuses he threw out in the presser last week reminded me of Seibold at the broncos.

That's why we bought an experienced playmaker and have had him training with the side for about 2 months now.

So with them listed is Young now right wing, Hunt left.
Not happy with Jones not starting, prefer Barnett to bench and swap Sue and Watson but that might happen as previous few times.

Hunt & Young are listed the same way they have been for the last few weeks. There’s no rule about particular player numbers corresponding with particular wings or edges.

I've got this little urch of confidence. It's a game we start well and win well. Or start poor and look like 12 yr olds. Winning starts this week or kiss it goodbye.

Article about Klem getting concussed in the first tackle and playing on for 20 minutes, before he recovered enough to realise he was concussed and put his hand up to go off.

In a reserve grade game once I saw Joel Edwards get knocked out cold and hit the ground completely unconsious. The ref immediately called for a stretcher, but by the time he turned back around, Edwards had come round, bounced to his feet and got back in the defensive line. The game was held up for 5 minutes because Edwards didn't know where he was, but knew he had to stay in that defensive line and wouldn't go off.

Klemmer is now ruled out of the game because of this.
Makes sense. It's the right thing to do for his health

As soon as I read that article I thought Klem is a million to 1 to play.
And as soon as I watched the Johns interview where he struggled to not confirm he was playing this week, whilst also describing his role at lock this week, I knew that Johns will be starting lock.

Just like to see us in the game from start to finish. Every time the other sides get a few tries on us... its like i know we cant come back and win it.
Only seem to win when only on the perfect start but once it falls apart thats it.
The sides we fielded in 08-09 years had some great close games all season long and some great close come from behind games to watch.

Agree with this, would love nothing more than for us to be in it the whole way.

Guess the one good thing is we can tell usually from the first set of we are gonna get thumped or go good.

This team has no resilience, no passion or pride in the jersey and the will to do anything to win isn't there. We get behind or something goes against us there is no coming back.

The Raiders appear to be playing to their potential. Makes tomorrow night even more important.
Being in camp will be good for a lot of clubs who have been off their game.
Hoping the Knights will be one of them.
