In past years, we'd lose this.
We'd come off the strong win over the Warriors and sleepwalk our way to a loss over a team we should put away easily.
I don't know how we get the ruthless edge needed to win this sort of game, but I hope we have a plan.

OBi always seems to have a plan , it may not always work but he seems to be a plan sort of bloke .
 
We will have Mann back for this one I'd say, Crossland back to reggies and otherwise, no injuries from the Warriors game.

We should have too much for them at home, in front of a bumper crowd.
 
We seem to be going OK in the wet but I hope we can get some dry weather football for the fans, for the spectacle and for Pearce's 300th - I'll wait to see how the Tigers go on Sunday against the Roosters before I comment on next week's game though
 
I hope we don’t wear our mining jumper against these guys bound for a loss if we do.

I haven't had a look but was it a shoulder because he looked to be holding his ribs although he could have been nursing the shoulder .
 
Looking like Crossland is probably banned for that crusher tackle.

I don't really rate the Tigers super highly this season, but will wait and see how they stack up against the Roosters today,
I think if there's one thing i've taken away from our first two performances its that the boys seem to have patience.

In the lead up to the Hunt try to win, we didn't look particularly panicked, the lads were happy to graft away and wait for an opportunity. That's a characteristic we haven't had in recent years. I think we lacked creativity, however. We definitely need KP back for a bit of spark.

Should be an entertaining game nonetheless, if we lose I won't be devastated, any win without Ponga and Green is a bonus in my books, but these are the 'easy' points we should be picking up that will help us in the back end of the year.
 
Tigers haven't been terrible so far against the Roosters but they certainly have not been great. They just seem to always be lacking something.
 
Brooks was awful. BJ horrendous. I feel sorry for them because there is a lot of players in that team that are busting they’re backsides. Twal, Liddle, Garner.

I’d expect to see Madden in for Brooks this week. Someone in for BJ
 
Wests look like a side that could have a great day at the office where everything sticks and everything works and they win by 40 - maybe twice a year if they are lucky.
 
The roosters tend to make teams look pretty horrible, have done so to us a few times.

I don't count this as a sign of how they will play against us, and if the team does that, we could be in for one of those losses to teams we should beat affairs.

They both play on the left was my original thought, but he might get dropped as well after that effort.

That's right, he swapped sides so the jet could play on his favoured side. I had the game on but there was plenty of other stuff going on around here too, I wasn't watching that closely.
