This will be a lot closer than what most are expecting. If we can compete and not make mistakes early we will absolutely make a game of this.

Knights - 22
Roosters - 18
MOTM - Mann
FTS - Toa
 
Yeah, JWH out for them is huge, if we can win the middle could be in with a shot. Points could be an issue without Ponga, interested to see what Hoy can do at the back though.
 
Jones and Crossland out I assume would be compassionate grounds. Absolutely the right call for two young guys who must be gutted. Very sad news.

Big test for To'a in this game.
He seems pretty good under the high ball, but he will have Tupou leaping all over him and plenty of kicks aimed at Tupou to defuse.
It won't be the end of the world if he gets beaten a few times and lets in a few tries, because he is young and will learn from this, and the best wingers in the game have been beaten by Tupou in the air.
If I were the coach I'd tell him to do what Uate used to do against taller men in the end, which is to just get a hand on the ball and spoil the play - don't worry about knocking on or giving away a penalty - just don't let them get a clean catch and score a try.

And if that doesn't work cut them in half as soon as a toe touches the ground lol.
 
I'm expecting us to run hard and tackle hard. That should put us right in it.

Both Saifiti’s starting is good for us. Friend starting for the Chooks is also good for us.
 
I try not to bet on the Knights, however the line is now 20.5..
