Yeah I'd Roosters, Storm, Parra in that order as the big 3, than us, Raiders, Sharks(they are coming good) as among the chances than forget about the rest.

Would have to put the Panthers in that top 4 as well at the moment. We are coming 4th but from what we've shown so far, I would have to say we're not quite the same level as those 4 just yet, next rung down. Raiders & Sea Eagles were specials but without Hodgson, their year is over, Tommy Turbo missing sets Manly back big time. Tigers, Sharks & Rabbitohs are fringe 8 sides, the 6 remaining sides after that are all rubbish. Strange comp this year.

Our team is miles ahead of theirs. We have a way better forward pack, possess far more of an attacking threat and are much better defensively.

On top of that they have a new coach and a fair bit of turmoil plus it’s in Newcastle.

All that considered I can absolutely see us losing this game 12-10.

The reason I think we'll win is because Watson and Barnett will both be out to make a statement and rip in for long minutes. The other guys will follow.

Both are massive inclusions with their playing intensity. I only became a diehard fan in 2009 so I haven't watched a lot of successful Knights sides & one of the things that I've realised in that time is that it's all about intensity at this level. You need to find players that will fight for every inch & cut loose anyone who isn't willing to do that. Some blokes naturally have it, but a lot don't & they need the right senior players around them to learn that. I feel like we're gradually finding that formula now. We've got a good core of older guys from other successful systems who know what it's all about & the young boys in the squad have an example in front of them now that they can follow & become leaders themselves.

Not surprised at full squad of 21, expect 1-17 to start with a change or two, possibly Barnett to 13 and Ese’ese to prop with JSaf to bench or Guerra to 13, Sione his replacement and Ese’ese to prop and JSaf to bench. Hope Watson is used to replace 1-7 + 9 only and our big men drive us home

Toohey has said Josh King is a chance of featuring in this week's game off the bench. Very likely to play some time in the next couple of weeks

I know most of us have made up our mind on him already, but I was just thinking today, he'd have to be fanging for a run. He's off-contract, hasn't had a run yet, no reserve grade, new coach to impress, he will be ready to make every moment count if he gets a go. Can just imagine he'd be giving his all at training every day.

"Kingy can't do much more than he is right now," O'Brien said. "He's been training the house down, doing extras every day and been real impressive.

Sounds almost criminal to not give him a shot

Whenever I hear a player described as ‘training the house down’ I automatically expect disappointment.

If they are resting someone to get King a game, I'd imagine they'd rest Guerra and put Sione or Barnett in his spot. That would just about mean that only Klemmer hasn't had any time off.
