Knights sign Andrew McCullough for rest of the season

If it came down to it and it was needed O'Brien would make Sione into a solid no nonsense hooker.

I don’t miss his selfish plays. We are a much better team without him.

Manly seem to be doing fine with him. I think Obi could have really improved him, but it is what it is, and we're doing fine without him as you said.

Reportedly he was heavily overpaid by us as well like $450k-$500k was after his NZ debut he re-signed?

[knightime]

Watching last night's game, I take back everything I said haha. Levi wasn't good at all. At one point, he made a trademark dash near the try line from the play-the-ball when a try clearly wasn't on, and ended up knocking on instead. Defence was average as well. I think we'll be just fine with Macca.

It's been standard operating procedure for him at Manly.

The reports were about $370k

Because when he was being shopped around and Manly agreed to it we were paying $80k of it or so, and we had already paid 90k and Manly were willing to pay for the remaining 200k.

Maybe he was backended to those amounts you mentioned but we're only paying the 80k for 2020 and that's all if I am not mistaken...

Tell me knightime, any chance you are a Foxtel commentator here incognito? Everytime time they praise someone you know what happens!!!!!

Haha, no chance! There is no universe in which I could happily call James Hooper a 'colleague'. Or Kent for that matter ('Kent' is pronounced however you prefer).

[Owey]

Wtf is going on at the Broncos? They are signing Isaac Luke now? I think we have come out of all this the best.

I honestly reckon he had too many options and by the time he thought of either, going through the hands, cut out pass, grubber, lobbed kicked, defence was in his face.

if there was another defender he would have done one of his bullet passes.

You don't need to be billy slater to work that one out, haha.

Haha of course. I'm just getting to the $$$ wise. He wants Slater money but needs to show consistently he can take the right option.

That was a horrible miss by Ponga.

He does a lot of brilliant things, but he tempers that with some ordinary things also.

He will get better over the years.

Hunt should have been screaming for it.
If he was, that makes it even worse.

Should’ve been a straight cut out to Tuala and then either he or Hunt would’ve been over. It was a dumb play but also a selfish one. Hopefully he learns from it.

Obi will address it and Ponga and he will not do it again.
