Let's be honest its time for our team for 2021!

First game back (2020) Ponga out, Mann to 1, Lino 6, Guerra 11, Watson at 14 covers 1,6,9, Sione to bench, rest unchanged and we have a very good goal kicker and it’s just for one game.

Well looks like the NRL is aiming for a May 21 return. Cam Smith against the isolation camps, but I think players who aren't worth a squillion are more against the thought of a 75% pay cut for the season and god knows how much thereafter?

yeah easy for him to say, could have easily retired 2 years ago, not to mention he can basically go into any role he feels now.

Guy's ego is so far up his a** he basically feels he can say anything he wants but rest assured the NRL were not thrilled at his initial comments about wanting the season suspended during Round 1 or whenever it was and you can bet your bottom dollar the cold reception from the NRL on his comments again won't be well received.

It's actually pretty awesome we can get a competition going again and I'm glad a lot of parties are pulling together to make it all happen.

Except for the scummy media who are trying to get everyone to turn on each other while generating recycled and regurgitate horsec**p and not selectively publishing anything relevant

Hopefully this will p!ss Cam out of the game so he can become a 'legend' - a legendary salary cap cheat, grub and rorter.

Just said on the news that the Nrl is leaning towards a new structure that will allow Sydney based teams, Newcastle and Canberra to stay in their own homes.
Aiming towards the comp starting in May.
We will find out after a meeting tonight.

The day they make training together OK again we should play a game between our firstgrade squad and our reserves and Flegg hopefuls to get everyone match fit and find out who has been keeping up the training.

NRL has signed off on a return date, germs at Channel 9 trying to savage it as much as possible to either get out of contracts or pay 1990 rates.

All Journo's flaming Greenberg as much as possible, yet funnily enough V'Landy's is getting zero critique - wonder who he's in bed with it.

Comp will get up and running BUT NRL will no doubt be paying only half of the going rate.

Probably the only part where the AFL were a step ahead of us shortening the season beforehand and expecting players to take a paycut in accordance with games played.
So I imagine the NrLs model will follow suit

Chanel 9 just not happy about the game going ahead as they now have to pay up. The quicker they aren’t apart of the game the better. Take a hit and go with 7 or 10 in the next deal and it might also make clubs run better instead of piggybacking off the tv deal.

Really bad attitude from channel 9, they should be paying the full contract amount to help the game which will give them a better product to televise in the long run.

Channel 9 (and Fox for that matter) would be absolutely rooted if it wasn’t for Rugby League. Praying that someone else gets the rights next time around.

Same, I’ll laugh if 10 get it or something who were keen once upon a time or even Optus haha

Let's hope the NRL remembers the journos laying the boot in at this time and the execs screwing us instead of getting behind us. Wonder if 9 after losing the cricket would survive without us as well.

About 7 more weeks to get all the ducks in a row.
I'd actually tell the boys to take a few weeks off serious training and just relax now we know the timeline, and with 5 weeks to go we get stuck into training seriously.
