Latrell..

He is a country boy finding it hard to live away from his family.
This is a very common story - the only difference being he is potentially the best player in the world.
If we could find a way to settle him at Bulahdelah so he could travel to Knights training or visit his family whenever he wanted, we would be crazy to not try to get him.
Players that could win you a grandfinal don't come on the market every day.

Ponga does himself no favours by clinging to the persona of the cool kid who cares more about skateboarding than football, but once he is on the field he puts in as much as anyone.

Does that mean Knights hierarchy aren't willing to make him an offer...crazy

Not necessarily, this is the first I've heard of this story so this must be early days. We may simply not have the funds or who knows, if rumours start getting stronger, we may try & attempt to find enough money. We are looking for another good back specifically.

Honestly it's a pretty stupid reason for having your "nose out of joint" and sounds like media beat up

Even at his worst, he's still a highly valuable addition to any team. He's a literal superstar on his day. It didn't seem to hurt the Roosters having him in their side, they won back to back premierships with him adding plenty throughout that time. Or maybe we can go & find someone mediocre but a good bloke to please the fans & continue to not challenge for a premiership but rather struggle to make the 8 year after year.

I think we forget sometimes that Ponga is just 21. Tedesco and Slater both too years to become as good as they are without the ball, and I think Ponga is way ahead of both at the same age in a lot of ways.
