David Furner

It wouldn't surprize me if he's on just a bit less money than the head coach.

He might possibly do a bit of the media work as well?

What's the word on Sheppard atm? I'm guessing also that he moved when O'Brien went to the Roosters?

Furner will apparently start working immediately while O"Brien will be tied up with the Roosters till they get knocked out or win.
I hope Furner will get to spend a bit of time with Woolf and Shepperd before they go, just to get their take on where all our players are at.

Hopefully all coaching staff and conditioners are moved on, I see zero point in retaining people that where part of a failing system.

The trainers had a successful year.
We only used about 26 players or so.
Very small injury toll this year.
Most guys made good gains last off season.
No list of players lining up for off season surgery either.

Most of our good juniors spent a lot of time in rehab for injuries, but I really think they rested those guys for every little injury and made sure they did really solid rehab to fix the problem completely, and I think that will make them better footballers in the future - when we want them to be.

So what are we looking at, atleast 1 more assistant + defensive coach?

Yeah I guess fitness and injuries have been decent.

Can we get a player whisperer to get the players heads right lol?

Our problem was too many bargain buys which, with the exception of Hymel Hunt and an approving Maison Lino, remained bench reserves at best.

Who else was a bargain buy? Gavet and Mann are the only 2 I can think of and both had some decent moments.
