Raiders missing Jack Wighton, Josh Papalii, Josh Hodgson, Nick Cotric, Luke Bateman, John Bateman (May be back this week) and Joey Leilua

Bulldogs a chance ??
 
Hodgson is out for a good period, looks like this might be Starling's shot. If he goes alright this weekend, he might keep a spot till Hodgson comes back. Could go a long way to proving himself capable of NRL level.
 
Brent Naden making his firstgrade debut for Penrith in the centres.
I might not be able to take a fair view of Naden after seeing him absolutely annihilated by Ponga when he played in the centres during all our in house trials last year, but I really don't think centre is his spot. He went pretty good for our reserves as a fullback and a wing, but in the centres he looks really bad in defence.

Starling has been playing the house down in reserve grade. His stats are a lot like the stats he had in under 20s for us, and much better than he had in reserve grade. I didn't think the little guy had much more to give, but he averaged 30 fantasy points a game for us in reserve grade and 53 per game for them so far.

He's 20, just out of under 20s, so you'd normally think he had a fair amount of improvement in him still, but I thought the little guy was giving it everything he had last year, so I'm a bit surprized he has found more to give.
 
Bunnies young running 5/8 looked strong.
Could be a cheepish target for us.
He is sitting behind Walker and would have a better chance of playing in Newy.
 
I liked that Sam Burgess was kept quiet, hopefully that doesnt fire him up for a big one next week.
Fitz has a big job to go toe to toe with Sam.
I kinda would prefer Barny v Sam tbh, think Barny niggle would put Sam off a bit.
 
Ash Taylor. Overhyped overpaid. Lazy defender. Useless attacker. He would go good in a local comp.
 
It's almost coincidental his form nosedived once he got his contract but wouldn't mind seeing him perform under another coach as it looks like Brennan is totally out of his depth. Coaching too many big names who don't want to play for him, reminds me a bit of Stones second stint. Titans roster should be doing way better
