If Moga doesn't return to fitness this year it couldn't hurt having another experienced centre on the books. Ramien and Hunt are so far going along great and improving consistently, but a guy like Scott could keep up the pressure.

He obviously has some issues at the moment at the Storm, perhaps a change of clubs is what he needs. If the Storm are covering a chunk of his salary is it worth looking at him?
 
If his off field stuff is a problem under Bellamy and the Storm he'd be the Tod Carney of Newcastle.

The $400k he'd be worth is hardly a back up.

Seriously this forum needs mod approval for the amount of crap threads for stuff that is ZERO chance of every happening.

Isn't this the forum page for speculation and debating free agents or recruitment targets? I saw an article and threw it up for discussion, nothing more.

Of course most players never become a serious target, but don't forget at some stage both Pearce and Klemmer were considered zero chances of coming here.
 
Brown loves Melbourne players who were there when he was doing recruiting for them - Slade Griffin, Beau Fermor, Jirah Momoisea, Tevita Alifa, Big Eddy whatever his last name was and the other prop be brought up from Melbourne in his first year - not to mention Brown was doing some work with Kurt Mann to turn him into a hooker at Melbourne too.

Anyway, this guy fits the profile of someone Brown would be keen on - someone he might have scouted for Melbourne.

Hope so! We tried hard to get him originally from the Sharks. He even came up and toured the place but chose the Storm instead.

Would like to know to off field problems first but there’s no denying the talent he has.
 
bradmen best debuted last week at left centre in nsw cup. wont be to long until he will be considered a backup option, they may already be thinking he is our longterm solution

We've got Musgrove coming through also. A long-term rotation of Ramien, Musgrove and Best is an exciting thought.

That’s what I’m basing my opinion on, also the fact they need good backs
