Hi from the Warriors. You guys seem to be travelling OK, good on you.

Our mob is a struggle. Pre season I am sure if you had given us a 1 point loss against the Storm in Melbourne without RTS, Fusitua, Green and Kata we would have taken it, but to lose on a dodgy call after such a gutsy performance was galling. However, performances like that can set the standard.

Contentious players for us are Kata, general opinion is Herbert should replace him on better defence. Blair has been underwhelming, especially on an edge.

I actually pick you guys this week but I do believe our guys can do it if the right selections are made. I support Kearney but can be a stubborn git.

So all the best guys, will see you post mat h.

Sounds like Sione is back to the centres if Ramien and Moga are both out.
The only actual centre we could call up if the NRL approved would be Musgrove, but he is literally 1 and a half games back from missing nearly a year with a major injury, so dropping him into firstgrade would be crazy.
Fermor is the other guy we could call up if approved, and I've heard he replaced Moga in the centres yesterday.

Kurt Mann could play centre if fit?

Going back to back Wins, is the real test here....we do that than, I might start getting my hopes up again for a possible finals spot

I honestly dont know what will happen with this one.

Did the Knights learn their lesson from the season so far and now know they have to turn up ready to play, or are we going to go back to a relaxed no worries attitude.

If the former then we win, the latter they win.

Our recent trip record to NZ would probably look grim. The Warriors will be very hungry after getting dudded last week. Let’s hope we can put in a repeat of yesterday and it should be a close one.

Something I noticed in trial games and training drills, but not so much in games is something they did against Parra.
Basically, Ponga stood right behind Levi, almost in his back pocket, and when Levi went for a run, Ponga went with him.
The try Ponga scored was a classic example of it working - Levi caught out the markers, ran into a gap, and had a flying Ponga almost holding his hand when he came to a defender.

For most games when he plays fullback Ponga stands in the line like a 5/8, but part of the plan for Levi to run more seems to have included Ponga being his little shadow.

Saulo had his best game since coming back - he is steadily improving every game.
Only 41 minutes, but 15 runs for 143 meters and 11 tackles at 100% tackle efficiency.
The big surprize in reserve grade was big Jirah Momoisea coming back from injury and topping the fantasy points off the bench - 49 fantasy points - 12 runs 123 meters, 28 tackles, 1 missed in 44 minutes
Jake Saifiti was behind those two - 9 runs for 78 metres, 17 tackles, 1 missed.

For what it's worth, Tyrone Amey in the Qld cup played for 73 minutes at lock, ran for 198 metres in 24 runs, 75 post contact metres, and made 36 tackles. He is the form middle forward in the Qld cup and improving every week.

Was he in the #15 ? If so he looked great. Not the biggest bloke but had a crack in both sides of the ball.
