Mate just realising how many cretins their are in the NRL, hey I was loose as a young fella and had plenty of flings....... But passing around women like meat, degrading them, recording it and sharing it around mates is vile, and I am far from a prude.

Were mates on FB so you'll realise I hold high values and morals to a bigger standard than most, plus am a Dad.

I just look at it like society. About 500 contracted players, after all they are just 500 young men that happened to be good at football. 500 random people from any group or profession, always gonna find some **** heads. I'm sure there are many players that are the best blokes in the world, but unfortunately that's just how it works, the few bad ones get the publicity.
 
If you believe the tabloid press, half the kids in Australia are up to this sort of thing.
The only ones getting in trouble for it are ones whose names sell newspapers.

Hey most ARE great people . However NRL players have contracts to conduct themselves in a way that doesn't bring the game into disrepute and they agree to be held to a higher standard than Joe bloggs down the road.

I am sorry Billy but what they are doing is NOT normal and not ACCEPTABLE.

100% correct. The photos and videos exchanged on a daily basis terrify me as a father of 3 daughters. I don't see where Billy said it's normal but I have no doubt this type of behaviour is reasonably common and has been for years. I mentioned elsewhere today that a couple of years ago I went to Emergency at a hospital. The Triage nurse looked familiar. I'd seen a photo of her sitting on a kitchen bench showing off her money maker a week earlier. She'd sent it and others to a Cousin.
 
Poor phrase of words from me and apologies to Billy. But I sincerely doubt it's as common as the tabloids make it out to be. There is no doubt that the dozen odd videos rumoured to be about show the nrl culture is in a p!ss poor state. Dating back to Coffs Mason even stated gang bangs are common amongst NRL players. Even before that remember Matty's Sharks antics.

I don't apologise for finding this disgusting and taping it is next level disgusting to share among mates even if it isn't outed.

I usually make a big effort to get my girls to watch the nrl especially knights I sure as hell won't be anymore until the nrl gets this crap out of it.

I see what you mean now. The videos surfacing show the hidden underbelly of what players are getting up to, which can sort of tarnish the idea of supporting these guys. And this is all secret stuff that no one knows about, the only reason it's out now is because of someone leaking vids.

Relating back to my previous post, selecting any large group of people will most of the time result in **** heads being among them. Stopping short of the NRL having to background check & search each player's social media before they're registered, this cannot be changed & is a fact of life. The one thing the NRL can do is come down tough like they are now & get rid of anyone involved in this crap, make it clear that this isn't acceptable. Even then, players will still do stupid stuff in private, but at least they might be smart enough to not film it & send it to people.
 
What do you expect from young guys making a lot of money with great bodies? They will likely be able to pick up anyone they desired.

We live in a world controlled by mobile phones and social media. Sh*t is going to get recorded that wasn’t possible in years gone by that I have no doubt happened back then as well.

Players need to wise up on who to trust if they wish to film any sort of adultry behaviour whether it be sexual or harmless fun that is not desireable for the general public to become aware of.

Yeah he acted like an arrogant ****** thinking he was untouchable after the Napa sex tapes asking for people to urge him on but his stupidity got the better of him when he bought up Mark Geyer's daughters name.

Serves him right, deserves everything he gets now.
