Pass mark for 2019

At this point with who we've signed I think 6-10 place. Get Klemmer I tighten to 5-8 depending injury for me.

Imo injuries decided for us this season even if we had just kept Pearce on the park for the season I reckon we would have made the eight ...I said all along that 10 or 11 was a good spot for us this season without injury , but without those injuries to Pearce , Ponga , Watson and Griffin we would have made the eight .

Injury is just bad luck.

It depends on what Wests want to happen really. When Wests took over there was a lot of posts about how they will expect success from the club, and demand it.

So if Brown isn't measuring up to whatever yardstick they have for his tenure he will go. Considering they only just signed him to an open ended agreement, stating they wanted Brown at the club for the long term, I can't see them knee jerk sacking him based on not achieving a certain place.

A lot will depend on injuries. If we get another year of key injuries like last year that will have to be factored in.

Top 8 is pass, anything else is fail, Browns tenure is up to Wests beyond that.

Depth is a huge problem for us, the reserves performance this year I think is the catalyst for Brownies big clean out.

Uncle Phil said the goal was to win every home game and be in the top 4 every year.

That's a fair benchmark to strive for, no harm setting the bar high. We're a fair way behind that standard now, but in a couple more seasons time, why can't we be top 4 regulars?

Every home game was for the upcoming season, and I said at the time it was a stupid comment to make, proven by the performance of that year.

Top 4 every year was an ongoing goal to strive for, as does every club that is a good chance at the semi's.

If injuries are kind we have no reason not to be amongst the top 4 contenders. We’ve recruited that well I reckon.

I'm far from a gambler. Only bets I've had i my life would've been a coupla mystery bets in my teens when my old man used to race greyhounds. But...this squad has moved me to splash out, a little. Top 4 and KP for Dally M. Brown needs to show his coaching credentials and Pearce his leadership...KP will save both of them.

Keep in mind the better the team the less likely that an individual will poll as well as a brilliant player in a poor side, he might, Ponga that is, win but will be more difficult due to improved teammates and opposition awareness.
