Knights sack Dylan Phythian

Writing off any possible signing that will improve our side/performance is silly, if he has done all the right things and is acceptable to the club and team then ok. His sacking by Knights basically meant his penalty was season not 12 weeks so has served his time and everyone is aware of what the consequences are, I have no problem if he is being considered just hope he has learned from it.

Yeah no its not.
 
He has shown ability, yes did some silly things, got caught, paid price, start with clean slate, suits our needs so why not consider.
If you rule out all troubled players who have made mistakes you limit your potential recruitment. Yes he was silly, yes he made mistakes but yes he has ability, if club consider him give him a chance, let him try out.
After all we weren't going to sign Sione were we but then some how that happened, sometimes we are only right some of the time, maybe the picture is bigger than the screen you are looking at
 
We dropped him from the contracted players list because he had to serve a long suspension and hasn't played for ages anyway.
Brown said he'd look at him again in the future and even said he'd recommend him to any other club that wanted to sign him for this year.
This year was a write off for Pyth after he didn't do anything but rehab all off season and had to sit out half the season.
If he has a decent run in Qld cup I think he'll get another chance with us, or someone else if they give him a bigger offer.
 
He has a lot of talent.

I would be happy if ww resigned him.

Never made a mistake or a wrong decision yourself mate . He did a knee so what how many players in the NRL have done the same thing and are still playing ...Junkie no knee's is pretty bloody harsh unless your perfect of course ...
 
Never broken a law or done anything bad enough to be sacked by a long way.

Injury prone and suspect character good enough for me to put a pencil through him.
 
I don't remember him being injury prone he did a knee but that's all as far as I know . 1 injury doesn't make you injury prone imo .
 
Phythian has had reoccurring knee issues if I’m not mistaken. Pretty sure it was the same knee as well.
