Tevita Pangai Jnr

Theres an article in the courier mail about how the broncos have a battle on their hands to try and keep him. I dont have a subscription so i cant read it. If anyone does can they please post it.

Oh boy, the twins, Ese'ese and Pangai would knock over a few teams.

He should become our highest paid forward going by our cap situation.

Mosese Pangai was fantastic when he played under 20s for the Cowboys - always thought he'd make the grade too - but just one firstgrade game for the Cowboys.
I think there was another brother who played juniors for Canberra too.

Wanting him and getting him are two different things. I read that article about being a Bronco for life but not sure how genuine players are when they say it, loyalty is gone it's "show me the money" time.
Someone should be whispering in his ear about our interest at the same time I wonder why he left.
He said he liked being coached by Ricky S at Raiders then went to Broncos, sounds very much like "I am very happy where I am but show me the money" I can be happy anywhere.
We have contacts, Sione, Esee, Moga.

Would have to be a great chance. He's from Newcastle, mates with Sione, former teammates Ese'ese & Moga here, I'm sure he's probably mates with a few more of our guys who may have come though the grades together. Going off Brown & Mooney's past, he seems exactly like the kind of young guy they would pay a little overs for in the short term, but for big return. Would be surprised to see Brisbane give him a lucrative offer too. The Knights look on the rise, c'mon Tevita, you know you want to.

His oldest brother, David Pangai, was a winger for Wests Rosellas for about a decade and is one of their club legends. He played a handful of reserve grade games for the Knights too, when Rip Taylor was coach.
I don't know if Tevita was a Wests junior, but it would make sense.
Tevita played pretty much all his junior footy in Newcastle for Souths in the same team as Sione, Ryan Glanville and a few others who have played 20's elsewhere.

You would think we would be in with a big chance, especially if we have a good year with the results. We can match or beat any other offer, he has history in the region so no need to sell the region to him, close mates at the club, really the only reason to stay at the Broncs is if he believes Wayne/Broncs can do more for his game/future value.

Mate they've through their talents and efforts always had more money than a young fella can dream of, I don't doubt they'll rue the fact if we are killing it and there getting beat most weeks that they chose not to be a part of it.

Bird probably doesn't give a ****. The club wasn't really anything to him other than another offer, he'd be getting similar money at the Broncos too. Gags is the one that might be a little edgy. He would have moved on by now & settled into his new club, but in a few years time he might look back on it as a mistake, Knights are very promising with Pearce & Ponga, Souths don't really look like they'll be contenders for a long time to come unless they revamp their squad.

Read on there a player in a 1 team town banned from 4 pubs and looking at a blanket ban from all pubs no too guesses.
