Excellent news, finally another quality player has signed to play with us - it's been a very long wait.

Hopefully we get 2 more prop signings and a gun half

yeah without two more props and a gun half that is a bottom 4 side

Just my opinion but I don't think Sione will ever play wing if he isn't fast enough for centre as some say , he definatly isn't fast enough for wing Maybe he can become our Paul Gallen But I have to say with Sione and Buhrer in the pack it still looks too small.

Tbh he doesnt need to be a 11sec runner.
Just needs to have the agility and enough speed off the mark to not get burned by every player.
His a power player though his in the wrong position for his size to be that power player.
Giving 10cm and 10kg away to pretty much every other backrower his power isnt as effective.
10m out against wingers/centres is where he can be demaging like Aku was

There will be improvement in players, and they will force their way into the side.
Brendan Elliot is one who seems to be improving rapidly. He is a much better player than he was last year, and he impresses me more every time I see him play.

Sam Stone is a rapidly improving player. As I keep saying, just a year ago he was not a sure starter in NYC. A year from now he could be anything.

Tom Starling started the year in NYC and knocked the ball out of the park. Since then he has got a contract for next year and is also knocking the ball out of the park in reserve grade. He is now training with firstgrade and I expect him to debut this year - then he'll get a firstgrade off season. He could be anything next year.

Guys like King, Jake Saifiti, Yates, Fitz, Amey, Pat Mat, and JTB are all guys who are improving slowly but steadily. A few of those guys will force their way into firstgrade next year.

If you re read the signings forum you'll see I suggested we sign Guerra months ago and everyone basically called me stupid....

Brown hit the nail on the head, you aren't gonna have a dominant forward pack with 20 something young year olds who have played well under 100 games of first grade. Guerra obviously ticks Browns boxes so i'll trust his decision in bringing him in. For once hopefully a player needing a change suits us!

I call everyone mate in life because I'm terrible with names. On the internet I call people with long names mate because I'm a slow typer :D

Just watched the Rabbits/ Roosters , Guerra is the real deal what a solid defender, owns the opposition big boys - he is exactly what Brownie can build a team around .
Just need a few solid props and an experienced half

Agreed, he tightened up the middle quite well. He should be great here, allowing Buhrer to tighten up an edge.

Lock,

His a big guys who has great D and can make meters if used in that way.

Can run a great line to which makes him a good edge player.

But his a lock first and foremost
