Chris Garry from Courier Mail reporting Ponga has requested a formal release from Cowboys and could be with the Knights as early as next month.

If we get Ponga I'd imagine we won't be pursuing Holmes anymore. I hope the rumour of a million dollar contract for Bird isn't true, he's a good player but that's way overs for what he provides.

Massive signing would of lost a fortune if I gambled. Just didn't see him leaving the sunshine state. Will be the best player in the world in 3 years time if injuries are nice to him.
