2015/2016 MS Draft - Expressions of Interest

So in regards to de-registered/sacked players I think @josh2010 is right, If they have played a game in 2015 they should be eligible

What do you guys think ??

We also need to decide what to do with the players from a team when the coach pulls out
 
Do the games count as any sort of game so from NRL all the way to bush footy?

As for coaches pulling out and there players, I'm down for their players to come back into the draft some how, but a coach can't jusy pick them after the coach has pulled out... if you can think of a fair way? But something not including a trivia or VC...
 
If a coach pulls out then their players should be unavailable, keep it how we've had it over the last few drafts.
 
Draft starts tomorrow guys !!!

I've decided that if a coach pulls out their players are not available mainly due to the fact I don't see a fair system in which all coaches would get a fair shot at selecting those players

Also de-registered and sacked players are available as long as they have played some form of Rugby League in 2015

If anyone has any disagreements or questions please say so before we start the draft
 
Maybe a raffle could work? Like each draft player gets a random number up to 20 & each player from the withdrawn team gets a number too, then line them up & the draft players get that player with the same number. The only problem I see is that some draft players would end up with nothing if the withdrawn team doesn't have enough players to go around.

The other issue is the difference in player quality for example someone gets Thurston by chance and someone else gets a NSW Cup player which I don't really see as being fair

Yep, that all factors in. I wouldnt say it isn't fair though, everyone would get an equal, random shot at getting any player, whereas other methods probably wouldn't provide that equal, random shot. If you were to bring it in, I would have no problems with getting a NSW Cup player or nothing if I had the chance to get a Thurston.

Either the players are out or you have to trade players of equal value from your team for them at the end of the draft.

I think just not allow them to be included! Simple no issues and everyone is happy!

would be nice if someone had the time to set these teams up on RLL3 and do a simmed comp!
 
I'm happy either way, just seems like a bit of a boring option to take for me personally. I reckon it would be an exciting thing & we could make it a little event, announcing who gets what players drawing names out of a hat or something like that. But I think it's clear that some people will be offside as someone would get a Thurston & someone would get nothing so maybe it's just not worth the drama.
 
Yeah I think we will stick with what we have always done, Coach drops out so do their players
