Round 21 - Knights v Raiders @ Canberra Stadium

Does anyone know a way to meet the boys at away games? Probarly the last game i'll be able to get to this year and keen to get some photos :)

I think the team finally has some real confidence/momentum and should be too strong in this one.

Knights: 28
Raiders: 14
fts: Dugan
lts: Roberts
mom: Mullen
worst tattoo: Earl

i just put $20 on this game (good value at $2.60) and Knights to make the semis (@ $4.50). I really hope i haven't jinxed us now

$2.60 is a great price (if you can't decide between 1-12 @ $3.75 or 13+ @ $6.25!)

Sportsbet has now shortened to $2.50 ftw. Gotta love getting those bets on early then watching the odds get lower and lower :D

Let's not forget Bennett doesn't have a great record against the Raiders.

Meh.. Bennett's records have gone out the window this year

when did Sandor Earl go to Canberra.?? :S

Like a month ago. I think he pulls his shorts up quite high. Just an observation... :anxious:

Last year we went to this game and it was awesome! Lets see that again!! :)

Go out to the bus after the game. They sign autographs, get photos and all that.

Or get there early and wait in the car park for them to arrive or they should be near the sheds in the 1st half of the Toyota cup, also wait near the sheds as they come off the field they should sign as they head back in some of them

According to stats our forwards have averaged the fewest amount of metres of any club this year, and we've conceded the most offloads. Hopefully Wayne pick's up on it, against Manly our defence was great to hold them out as much they did, their offloads really gained them at least an extra 5 metres every tackle. Can't wait for Sunday :)

Our forwards have done alot better in recent weeks, I don't think you can worry about that stat, as we were very poor at the start of the season. Offloads is a big problem though, Warriors made us pay big time at the start of the game, then went to sleep.

Yew will be there, heading down Saturday night busing it from Sydney to Canberra with a mate staying yha Canberra 2 nights coming back Monday arvo.

The Dragons & Titans both getting victories certainly doesn't help us in anyway, we need to put a big scoreline on the Raiders to boost our points differential up just incase it comes down to that for the 8 with our tough run home. We're 59 behind the Warriors & now with their victory 32 behind the Titans who are now in 8th spot, not good.

We're only 59 behind the Warriors. Im not worried about getting in the 8 overnight, Im more than happy for the boys to just keep winning no matter the scoreline because it's those 2 points every week that WILL put us in the 8. Who cares about the other teams, it comes down to us being able to win these tough games and prove that we're a very serious side.

Don't think about these teams so much. As a lot of others on here have said, if we win one week it a time and take it slow we will get in the 8. None of this must win business.

I never said for it to be a must win, only simply meaning we should put a big scoreline on the Raiders which i'm sure many others would agree with. It's not too much of a worry at the moment, but it would be handy to have a solid F/A in our back pocket if it comes down to it in a few weeks giving the form that teams hunting the 8 are showing lately.

Yeah it'll be nice to beat the Raiders by plenty but I won't care one bit if we pip them by 1. We just need to keep up with the 8 and spots will open up for us :)
