Round 20 - Knights v Warriors @ MT Smart Stadium

Uate must be the unluckiest guy. He gets dropped from origin, he gets disallowed a try against Souths for accidental offside (correct call ofcourse) which would of given a hatrick, disallowed try against Manly that should of been botd and hatrick, and then tonight another call that should of been a try which would of given his 4th consecutive double.

Love it...see Uate do an offload :) if he get a couple of them into his game every week he will be lethal. Another good performance by Rochow n the team as a whole. Same side nxt week thanks.

Did anyone else think that Uate regained the ball and grounded it with at least fingertips?

Edrick Lee's on his wing, good in attack but in defence Uate should easily steamroll him. Did you head out to the game James?

Nah, unfortunately I couldn't afford it - I'm coming over to Aus for round 26 and our anticipated finals matches instead. :)

Well, personally I don't think it was a try because he had no control, but going by the way it is ruled upon these days it was 100% a try ... not even benefit of the doubt ... and it was a very odd decision to disallow it!

I'm never confident against Raiders, you just never know what team is going to show up. But Gagai and Uate should easily dominate Choker and Lee

You have a point. But surely if he's regained it and had at least a little amount of pressure which was visible, it'd be a try? Like Junior's try v Dragons in 09'...

We were awesome last week, but tonight was our best win.

Bit shaky in the first 20mins, but we showed plenty of spirit and belief to come back. The knights of old would have folded after being down 18-0, for sure.

Cuthbertson has been playing great in the last month, but he was simply a beast tonight. Best prop on the field, imo. 13 runs for 144m, 3 offloads, 26 tackles, - Outstanding!

Without being bias do we think Uate is in line for his third consecutive dally m award?? Only other contenders would be Graham, Morris and Everingham I believe.

Boyd is the worst defensive fullback?! Wth are you smoking Lachy9

Agree with knights22, its rare for Uate to ever use 2 hands to put the ball down, it's the first time he's ever dropped one which proves it's just a one off mistake and definitely forgivable. I agree he needs to concentrate more when scoring tries after this but he shouldn't be condemned too badly for it. Everyone makes mistakes and other than that he had a sensation game.

SMOKING VICTORY PIPES MATE!

I wrote 'as in when someone makes a break' He cannot stop someone when that happens. Elsewhere he's solid. But it's so important in that last defence as a fullback to stop a player from a line break break, or at least if he can. He cannot do it! Gidley was champ at this. Anyway, who the **** cares. He's finally coming through and so are the Knights.

Yew! Knew if we'd to win this we can make the finals...and it's looking so realistic now.

:applause: I like the effort. Could be a repeat of last season perhaps, needing a win to make it through. Loved that rd26 game last season <3

If it's anything like last year then I will be one happy camper!!! It'll be awesome to be there for old boys day though, I'm looking forward to seeing all the old players doing the lap!

Yes. I honestly, no bias, thought he did. I remember Mat Rogers being awarded a similar try about 10 years ago, and it has stuck in my mind since then, could not believe it was disallowed tonight.

I was thinking about that, he wasn't great at the start of the year, but I really can't think of anyone who is even close to him apart from Graham, every winger has dropped form at some point this year, or been injured.

Also, he's only 7 tries off being the 2nd knights player to score 20 tries 3 consecutive years, with his form I think he'd be a big chance of doing it.

Also, knight just gets better, now 5/5 in tipping and beating Aidos! (You see what I did there?)

Cant believe Uate dropped the ball over the line!!

Awesome win...when we are 18-0 down thought we were gone for good...good to see them fight back. We seem to be great attackers during the second half of our games...hopefully we'll start putting two good halves together!

Oh and Cuthbo was awesome tonight!!

It's only minor but the Uate of old would just have dived over the line but these one handed put downs are going to one day come up ugly and tonight was it. Hope he learns from it. He is in some form but can't get over cocky.

How unlucky was Darius Boyd scoring? Thought he had the match winner! At least he set up 2 and looked good again.

Cuthbertson has been great for weeks now. He has really kept his ball control intact.

Gagai is such a breath of fresh air and with all due respect Naiqama or Sau would have been tackled on halfway and not scored that try.

Tahu was great again, his hit on Hurrell was a highlight although we couldn't capitalize on the possession.

Little Kev did well and he looked very comfortable.

Overall great performance!

Knights insider with Bennett this week, you now have a question to ask him lol "What did you think about the Uate drop and the no-try call"

He did drop it, but grounded it with pressure before it hit the ground....
BS call!! the video ref only looked at it once! -__-
BTW NZ commentators = Like the commentary in the 60's! It seriously took alot out of the game, sounded so boring!
