Myles signs with Titans

I completely agree Josh. Just the one thing I'm worried about is he said he'll make his decision around now, it may be a celebration dinner lol I guess we'll hear more over the next 48 hours
 
If Myles is expected to announce where he is going on Wednesday and is having dinner watching a Titans game in corporate box on the Monday... I'm not so confident now.

Yes, and if it means we have to let players liek Pato go too make that happen, well then that is a sacrifice I am willing to make.
 
Can we get our ever so dependable Carbon Clay on the case? I'd love to know whats going on with Myles and Boyd
 
The waiting is getting very annoying, i just wanna know whats happening. I think the NRL should introudce a transfer window.
 
I was just thinking, it may not be a big of a deal Myles being at the Titans game last night. I was under the impression he flew up just to meet with Searle but I forgot the QLD side was getting announced in Brisbane today so he was around the area anyway, it's likely he just wanted to meet a few people for himself like he did with Edwards last week. Hopefully his decision is revealed tomorrow so we can get on with it. And I like the idea of that Madman.
 
Well that sucks. We would have had one of the best fowards packs in the comp with him. And i thought the Titans were offerring like 400K less then us or something?
 
Not really fussed to be honest, didn't really like him anyway. Does this mean De Gois'll be resigned?
 
lol so much for trying to convince myself he's still a chance with us...

Boyd is the only big name left who's available, if we don't sign him then it proves nothing has changed, still cant attract top players unless they're from the area. I'd love to know who these "Snowdens" are Troy Palmer is speaking of
 
Same old story. Nobody really wants to play for Newcastle (unless it's between us and the financially broke Sharkes).
Let's just hope Bennett can teach the players we have how to defend then.

Maybe its because we don't have a centre of excellence just yet? Surely the Titians can't buy anymore players, Myles, Idris, Douglas and Champion wouldn't be cheap.
