Sounds like Jake could have just had a stinger - so could be right for next week.

Brown also said in the presser that the defence of Joe Wardle in the centres was his reason for the backline rejig, and he was happy with Gagai getting more room and with Wardle in the centres, and that it probably wasn't a one off.
Given that, I'd have Elliot at wing over Sio.

It won't surprise me if he's out next week with his knee. With Stone's development it'll be hard for him to get back into the top grade but at least it gives me more trust in our depth. And there's no love on here for Fitzgibbon lol, he was getting s***ted on ever since he was in first grade by pretty much everyone who only watch first grade.

If he has a torn meniscus, if he needs surgery it's season ending. If he doesn't need surgery it's at least 3 or 4 weeks - possibly longer.

Think we lacked direction a bit today and parts of the game i was thinking we need Hodko back. Not sure what the go was with us constantly kicking to the sideline Maybe a plan to keep their back 3 out of the game? but for me

    1 Gagai
    2 Ross
    3 Pete
    4 wardle
5 Elliott/Sio Thought Sio was very average today
    6 Lamb
    7 Hodko
8 Dan Saifiti Absolute beast today, Think i seen he didnt come off till 55th minute?
    9 Levi
    10 King
    11 Sione
    12 Stone
    13 Yates

    14 Randell
    15 Pauli Pauli
    16 J.Saifiti
    17 Fitzgibbon

18 Starling (Stand by for J.Saifiti)
    19 Feeney
    20 Tupou (Standby for Fitzgibbon)
    21 Sio/Elliott

From what I can see our backrowers Sione, Stone and Fitz are all 80 minute players so I can't really see the point in having 1 on the bench. I'd rather have another big fella to rotate in the front row and someone to give Levi a spell ......

Very interesting about Gagai after Brown said in pre-season that he would absolutely not be playing fullback this year. You might just be right that he's trying to justify paying Gags big money to counter the other offers. It's annoying that it's half way through a season again though, based off what I've seen from Gagai in the past, he could be a really dangerous fullback but he keeps getting shifted in the middle of seasons with no preparation & looks buggered.

    So after listening to all the news - Jake S will probably be in and Starling and Fitzy out, Brown also keen on Wardle at centre and Gags at fullback, so;

    1 Gagai
    2 Elliot
    3 Wardle
    4 Pete
    5 Ross
    6 Lamb
    7 Feeney/Hodko
    8 Dan the man
    9 Levi
    10 Pauli
    11 Sione
    12 Stone
    13 Yates

    14 Randell
    15 Jake S
    16 King
    17 Tupou

    18 Sio
    19 Hodko/Feeney
    20 Mataora
    21 Stockwell

Or on the flipside he may know he wont be there next year and knows he has a fullback and is looking at his centre options or im looking to much into it

Brown implied in the presser that he moved Wardle to the centres for his defence against their strong backs, and I assume Gags at fullback was to get him into the side, so Elliot to left right out.

Pauli played 15 minutes as starting prop but when Chanel went off injured they moved Robson to centre and Pauli to second row. He played the full 80 minutes and made a heap of powerful runs, but most impressive was that he was mobile and agile in defence against their backs.
Mataora also put in big minutes because Paea and Stockwell both spent time off the field injured.
The Mounties pack was very good and tested them out, and they both passed the test.
It was close to a firstgrade workout for them.

Billy Billy you can't post you are the stocks for 24 hours!

Whilst I am one of his keen fans Gags has had a terrible year. He needs to muscle up and regain his former strength to bust tackles. I think Wardle played centre for one reason ~ the fat grub! Had a very quiet game BJ

    What are u on about...
Gags is in the top 5 for tackle breaks in the whole comp.
It was only a couple of weeks ago that he was almost unstoppable with ball in hand with i think 13tk breaks in 1 game.
