So this pec injury seems to heal on some in 10 weeks and others in 15-19.
Touch wood that Peace heals quickly and is good to go just after SOO is over.

Let's hope he don't ask Mullo for any tips.

I kind of expect several guys to aim up next week.
We all know all the guys who were doing well last year have underperformed so far, and one of the main reasons is they have sat back and let Pearce run the show.
Next week they have to aim up.
They can't expect the SOO halfback to do it all.
I think they have been ramping up a bit every game, but it's time to get back to owning their team again.

I didn't say it to meet yours or anyone else's requirements. I'm shattered for Pearce. If I didn't try to amuse myself I'd be sulking for a week.

Lamb is here for this, our best chance is to have him at 7 with someone he is comfortable with (cogger) by his side, to enforce this is his role.
The most solid selection for the side short term, is Burher to 5/8 , to stiffen D with Conner to bench utility to ease him in.
Picked the SAF twins based on body shape and balance, although Yates played well we need the experience of the older heads in these next few weeks of transition .

Let's play Lamb and win another spoon.

If he is our best chance we are doomed, doomed I say!!!! Cogger 7 Buhrer 6 and we admit 88 you were correct.

He can always go to 6 when subbed on and Buhrer to 9 or backrow. Wouldn't hurt Watson to give it a good test at 9 anyway for 20 mins.

Billy you haven't had a nice thing to say about Watson without a backhanded slap at him since we've had Pearce on the books mate.

For Lambs confidence it would be better for him to have to force his way back into the team rather than just being next in line. Make him sweat a fortnight then watch him tear it up once he gets the opportunity hopefully.

If we hop off the bus we'll beat them manly half of them are for hastings and half aren't team very much divided - the DCE factor lol.

    Not true.
I like everything about Watson, except the obvious fact that he isn’t a 5/8 and we seem to be calling him one because we’d rather lose games than admit a bad call.
Some on twitter and Facebook are saying he should be our main playmaker now. I don’t know if that makes me want to laugh or cry.

    Do I call a 5/8 a 5/8- yes I do.
    What’s your point?

2 wins from 2 with Watson playing 5/8th. Lamb dishes up two of the worst performances you will ever see in the halves and he's the saviour.

If I was to put my selectors hat on instead of what I hope/think what will happen - Watson will be on bench with Cogger 7 and Buhrer 6, Griff 9, same team as last week with Watson in for Pearce and Lillyman for Yates or Heighinton.

One player doesn't make a huge difference, Watson didn't win those games for us and Lamb didn't lose them, the opposition and the team performance around them was a more contributing factor. Yes Lambs performance at 5/8 was poor but not his better position, Watson was better but not outstanding, Pearce and Ponga have been outstanding but we lost games with them in the team
