Hey Billy, what is Pearsell's defence like? And who would be our goal kicker?

The only thing I can see that Hodkinson is doing for us at present is kicking goals.

Lamb is an excellent goal kicker. Stone was a goal kicker in under 18s and was pretty good too, but he'd need to be playing 80 minutes to get the kicking duties.

Can we forfeit the reserve grade game, and field both teams against the cows?

    That would really help!

Yep, pressure kick too as we had to kick it to give us any chance at all of leveling before full time. From the sideline he placed the ball, stepped back and belted it over no problem.

Brown saying a few guys might be injured for next week.
Gagai and Starling looked to be struggling at times, and Lamb was limping after a tackle towards the end, but that might have just been a bump he needed to run out.

Pearsall is not a good halfback. I think how best option at halfback is feeney or Randall. Or 7lamb 6 feeney/Pearsall/

Looking at the lineups above I think people ( not on this forum ) are forgetting how depleted our side is.
This is the side we were suppose to have run out round 1

    Pythian
    Sio
    Gagai
    Pete
    Ross
    Mullen
    Hodko
    Korbin
    Rory
    Mataora
    Sione
    Burher
    Barnett

    Levi
    Dan Saifiti
    Starling
    Pauli

    I know that's not a top 8 side but I'm sure with that side we're not sitting 1/7 .......

Really looking forward to Pauli making his comeback to NRL. Hopefully this week.

Watching the Dragons play right now, Cowboys don't have anything in attack...

Stone is proving to be a bit of skillful bench utility player now. Second-rower by choice, can slot into the centres & can ball-play, didn't look out of place at lock either. I think he was even playing a dual five-eighth/lock role last night with Sione ball playing in attack. A couple pre-seasons to pack on some kilos & he might a solid prospect.

Hope Browny brings Pauli in as soon as possible. Browny didn't have him in his best 17 last year, so I wonder if that's changed this year? He deserves to get a chance anyway, watching a little bit of the NSW Cup replay from last week too he isn't shying away from running hard.

Didn't see much of the game but from what I did see. Our prop/lock is a better half then either of Hodkinson and Lamb.

Should still be a interesting game next week with all the injuries. Personally hope Feldt is dropped for the game.

If Browny has any balls, he should drop Hodkinson and make Gagai captain.

If Starling and Stockwell are still the two best props and Plodko is at 7 don't think it matters who the other 14 are.
