Squad should be announced either today or tomorrow. Who's heading to the match on Saturday?

Interesting note, we play Penrith in Round 1 so will be a good hitout early.

We got smashed last year in the corresponding trial game.

Trial games are never televised, every year someone asks the same question. :p

We will have updates, that's about it.

I will be using this site for updates on the night. It should be a good game... with Penrith coming on top.
I have a list of the squad, just a few players are absent. Worrincy has a minor injury and is hoping to play in the second trial and Nafe Seluini has a cut that is infected on his foot, he will hope to be back by round 1. Daine Laurie isn't participating because he got back from France 5 days ago.

The squad travelling to Port Macquarie is: Michael Gordon, Sandor Earl, Adrian Purtell, Brad Tighe, David Simmons, Travis Burns, Luke Walsh, Sam McKendry, Tim Grant, Yileen Gordon, Jesse Sene-Lefao, Matthew Bell, Shane Elford, Ryan Walker, Arana Taumata, Blake Austin, Junior Paulo, Masada Iosefa, Shannon Wakeman, Harry Seijka, Brendon Gibb, Derek Duff, Dayne Weston, Sarafu Fatiaki, Luke Lewis, Trent Waterhouse and Nathan Smith.

It is expected that not all players who have travelled to Port Macquarie will play in the game, with Luke Lewis hopeful of a return against the Eels a week later.

We should win this fairly comfortably if Uate, Gidley, Mullen ect play.

Gee your a bit confident for my liking. We are full strength pretty much as well. If the players from Penrith that I am expecting go on the field, it should be a close game.

Even if our squad is full strength, the 'stars' wont play much. They'll maybe play 20-30 min max.

I'am a bit confident, yes. I really have been impressed with our pre season training. Not as confident without Gids, but shall be a tight one.

    True.

I don't know why, but I just seem to have more faith in the team this year?

Wonder if Henry will get a start?

Can't believe Tetevano didn't make the squad. He was awesome against the Warriors, easily one of our best and I heard he was great against Fiji too. Definitely showed he's pushing for a first grade spot.

What exactly have Ciraldo and Southern proved?

I was going to go up, but at the moment not looking likely, I guess I'll have to go to the Mariners instead.

Not too sure, listen to the radio last year they kept advertising them singing at Harvery Normans or somewhere.
They also did a lap after the game some of the players and signed and got photos with fans.
