Can't agree with you there. Having played against Ethan Cook he loved nothing more then hurting people with his hard defence.

It's a bit grim reading this list back now Billy. I would argue only Sione has become a somewhat consistent player for the club

I'd argue that 7 out of 10 have made firstgrade, 2 are still a very good chance - and I'd love to know where Harry Pondekas is these days - I really liked his guts and determination.

so 1-7 ok, played first and most still a chance to improve, 8-9 still a chance but to be honest never heard of Harry Pondekas, the Bennett boy, where did he end up?

    1 Matt Croker - prop - u20s
    2 Bradman Best - centre/second row under 18s
    3 Star Toa - centre/fullback under 18s and 20s
    4 Tex Hoy - fullback/5/8/wing - under 20s and reserves
    5 Kodi Crowther - wing/centre/fullback under 16s
    6 Jaron Purcell - second row/lock - under 18s
    7 Pheonix Crossland - halfback - under 18s and 20s
    8 Harry Croker - second row - under 18s
    9 Beau Fermor - second row/centre - 20s and reserves
    10 Mitch Andrews - centre - reserves and 20s

I won't go for the ones who are almost there like Jones Starling Saulo
I'd like to pick Kurtis Dark again, but he hasn't grown enough since under 16s, but is still a champion.

He only played for our under 20s for about half a season - Bennett bought him down from Qld and he helped us win a minor premiership. As good as Joe Tapine in many games.

Another thought - the oldest guy on that list would be 22 and every one of them still has their best years in front of them.

Not a bad strike rate Billy. Any talent scout would be over the moon if they hit 50%

    Pure luck I think.
I'd be happy with getting 2 or 3 out of 10 when picking under 16s players.
But most of those guys were already playing under 20s and were playing rep football too.
