Id pick Sio over Ross as my back up winger or fullback.

Tidy player that is sound in every situation.

Actually Jaybro lack of depth killed us and we need at least a spine (1, 6, 7 and 9) of reggies players that can meet the demands of the NRL.

    One of them is signed.
    One isn't.
We only need 1 - maybe not even.

Newton should have never been allowed back to play for us. Reserves or first grade. Much like many of Bennetts questionable signings.
    Ultimate Michael Hagan signing

Wingers are a integral part of any football side these days,
Id be happy having 2 wingers in cup that have 50+nrl games under there belt that can also cover centre and fullback.

We still have plenty of spots for the good 20s players to get a development deal in those spots.

Not mentioning that Sio kicks goals which is lacking in this squad

He's a decent backup goal kicker, but not the guy you hope to see lining up a sideline conversion after the siren for the win.

He's been really solid and has played an important role in the rebuilding and strengthening of the squad, but will definitely struggle to hold down a permanent spot in 1st.

Would be happy if he played reserves all year would mean we are injury free in wing position and those ahead of him are playing well, same goes for Ross and Denniss, if signed.

It's nice to have the positives listed.
I think he missed one of the biggest though - the new facilities being constructed soon.
I don't think they will be ready for the preseason, but once we have all the facilities in one site and all state of the art facilities, it will make a big difference.

Something positive from someone in the media for once! I think the biggest difference between finishing closer to the 8th and not as well as for the team going forward was the signing of Mitchell Pearce. As awesome as Ponga has been and in the past as in form as some players can be if you don't have a number 7 to steer things around then your team can look pretty ordinary despite being able to win games. The Broncos are a good example of that.
