People who have watched our first five games wouldn't have lamb ahead of anyone.

He dished up one of the all time worst performances against the dragons and was almost dropped.

Moga might have a lot of upside he hasn't had a chance to show yet. I never watched him at the Broncos so I can't say people who say he was great are wrong, but he was terrible in our opposed sessions, terrible in our trials and was just showing a few glimpses of having some potential when he was injured. On what I've seen, he has been our least impressive player - behind some of the backs in reserve grade even.

Haven't been impressed by Moga although he did flash a few glimpses while carrying and running the ball. We have him for a while so let him get over his injury and hopefully make his comeback and like everyone in the squad let's give him a chance to show us, same goes for Watson, Lamb etc.

Yeah that one that’s played here for five games.

Doesn’t change the fact the ones were signed prior have been less then spectacular

Storm seem to have no issues losing and replacing good forwards. And the history goes back a long way

Two forwards they lost from 2017: Griffin’s been good for us and Harris has been going great guns for Warriors. McLean got injured, but think if he was healthy, he likely would’ve made the Blues team.

Storm seem to have no issues replacing anyone, but I think that’s due to the great culture/structure they’ve built there under Bellamy and with the games best trio Smith, Cronk and Slater.

They’re not the same team this year without Cronk but. They’re really clunky.

McClean hasn't really been great this year in comparison to his massive payrise, Proctor has also become invisible at the Titans since running off Cooper Cronks passes at the Storm. And then there was Ryan Hoffman who did nothing at the Warriors. And who can not forget Adam Blair, who went from being the best prop in the world to a pillow in the space of the year, likewise with Antonio Kaufusi who was a QLD origin prop before becoming a nuffy. Their props that led the way in 2007 also became mediorce elsewhere (Cross and White).

So I can't say I am too excited we are aiming signing a forward from the Storm until proven otherwise. And I'm sure there are more examples then the above.

If im to be honest, ive never rated McLean.
Only reason his got rep jumpers is due to the storm system/structure being all over the rep systems style.

Players used to get rep jumpers for being the bext at the time not today.
Vaughan should of been the first picked for the blues and Australia last yr.

Maybe that's the key, Glasby ain't one of those flashy big name forwards. Anyone that plays in Melbourne is gonna look better in their team, they unlock the potential out of guys when they are supported by brilliant players around them. Glasby is just a guy who goes about his work quietly, that probably won't change going to a different club.

Don't know much about Glasby, can't say I've ever really noticed him when he has played, may be he is the quiet achiever type, meant say yeh or nay to him.

I agree it could be different. But I really feel like we need that enforcer guy the way Vaughn is at the dragons. A punisher type of guy that makes post contact metres. I feel like Pangai can be that guy if we can get him (and I know he has less experience) but he did really impress me on Saturday. And was carrying blokes with his runs.

I do think if we got Graham it would have been perfect for us plus the added bonus of leadership and experience but at least with guys like Pangai and Ese’ese they are guys you can build your rotation around.
