This is Farah's year too far, has been a very good player at club, SOO etc, won't be as good next year as this and is not that flash now. Even with part payment he will cost more than others. As for helping out Levi, his coach is ex hooker and Rory still with club.

Griffin is a goer but not particularly skillfull. I think he is more a fill in hooker than Lichaa or Rein.

Definitely need someone and our worst situation should be considered, what happens if Levi has serious long term injury, we need someone to play 1st grade week in week out till he is back, as good a player as Buhrer is I don't think it's him and Starling still a bit young.

Griffin has met with Brown in Newcastle according to a Herald article. Brown also says he knows him from his time in Melbourne.
Article also says we are chasing Blair still.

Griffin is a poor man's Bruhrer IMO. If Levi were to go down I wouldn't feel comfortable with a Bruhrer/Griffin hooker rotation for any length of time

Saw some speculation, in the Sunday paper I think, that we are looking at Jacob Gagai for the part time squad next year. That could be confusing for commentators in reserve grade games if we had Jacob Gagan and Jacob Gagai as our centres. The article said Gagai had matured a lot and was playing well in the real NRL. I always wondered why he would have a really good game in our under 20s and then drop out or play bad for weeks. If he is ready to put in a proper effort for a whole year, he might be a surprize firstgrader. He played half a dozen games in the under 20s that made you think he had a future.

I hope a change of club and coach works for Feeney. He always seems to be very close to making the grade, and a change of club could work for him.

The Wests Tigers are keeping a keen eye on Jaelen Feeney.

Market Watch can reveal the Tigers are keen on the Newcastle utility joining Benji Marshall at the club next season as their roster overhaul continues under Ivan Cleary.
A half who can play fullback or five-eighth, Feeney made his NRL debut with the Knights in 2016 but is yet to make a call on his future.

One thing you can bank on is Feeney won’t be in the red and blue next season.

A decision was made by the Knights to not offer Feeney a new deal after landing the signature of Roosters utility Connor Watson.

Feeney should take whatever offer is offered to him and thank the Lord that another club is willing to pay him to play rugby league. He is trash.

Apparently Matt Soper-Lawler, who was our top try scorer in NYC last year, has been offered an off season to trial with Melbourne Storm after playing in the Qld cup this year.
He had a great combination with Brock Lamb. It was like he just ran to the ingoal and Lamb got the ball to where he was running, rather than the other way around.

Today's daily Tele, article on Cameron King, Eels, saying he is off contract end this year. Haven't noticed him mentioned, any thoughts.
I think he is a real goer and a HOOKER.

I don't mind cam king. Struggled with injuries throughout his career. Out and out hooker. Does his job.
