I would love him at the club! He’s a beast!
Only at the dinner table, mattam, only at the dinner table.
Yeah, the only time I've seen him back up an effort is when it's for seconds at the buffet.
I'd love to have Boyd but I can't see us getting him
I think we will get Ah Mau and Glasby which is a good result in the end
Looks like the Titans are heavily favoured to get him, some sources saying done deal
He’d be wanting to get out of the cold
Hmmm interesting to see if this is true, looks like Wallace will stay at Titans because TPJ & Lodge are getting upgrades at Broncos
So will Titans throw big money at Boyd if they're keeping Wallace ??? Brennan does seem hell bent on wasting Ryan James on the edge so maybe they will get both Boyd and keep Wallace ???
Would be unbelievable if the Raiders lost both starting props considering they have no depth in that position as it is.
It's actually bad news for us if Boyd goes to Titans because the Raiders will make sure they get Glasby
Im not too fussed if we don't get Glasby, there are better valued free agents out there.
Not sure if others saw it but Ricky Stuart come out at his presser and said the Titans have offered Shannon Boyd ridiculous money. Sounds like he might be headed there
Toohey said same thing yesterday.
The Titans can have him for the big bucks. Sure, he's big, but not worth any more than $500k
If Titans get Boyd do they have enough cash to keep Wallace too??? Brennan seems hell bent on making Ryan James an edge forward so that would be a good front row.
Canberra will be desperate if they lose Boyd along with Paulo, they’ll throw big money a The next best prop or two which would likely be Ah Mau and Glasby.
Rumours are they’ll sign Ryan Sutton from England, they’ve had mixed success with buying English players as Whitehead and Hodgson have been stars but Turner was a big flop.
Boyd signing with Titans, should be announced this week.
Thank god we dodnt buy him.
His playing soft even playing for a contract.
The worst part about missing out on signing a player is they turn up playing against you, be nice to have some in the trenches with us rather than shooting back at us, each one we miss out on usually means you are settling for the conselation prize.
Boyd would be the largest consolation prize in the NRL. Big, slow and clumsy!
Boyd is a risk I think with the talk of interchange going down
From your source that said Ah Mau was a done deal and will be announced this week?
Saw an interview with Sam Burgess a little while ago. He said the Pom's were shocked, but also stoked when Boyd missed out on last years test / world cup team.
I don't think players like Taupau and Klemmer are realistic so I'd be taking a good look at Boyd. Not much else left out there.
Ese, Dan, Glasby and Guerra all play long minutes, so having Boyd to play 30-35 and pump out 100+ metres would be nice.
His post contact metres are very good.
