According to Barry Toohey Knights are chasing these guys as a replacment for Kostjasyn! Rein held talks with Knights last week with Lichaa set to do same this week! Personally wouldn't mind either but prefer Rein over Lichaa!

Everyone seems to have gone cold on Lichaa. Maybe Des doesn't utilise him as well who knows. Michael Ennis had somewhat of a resurgence when he went to the Sharks. Funny how they made one of the biggest high robbery swaps as a hooker Ennis/Lichaa, when several years ago when they made one of the worst hooker trades letting go of Isaac De Gois for Corey Hughes.
It might not have looked as good without the premiereship but he was still a solid contributor.

Anyway kind of concerned with Lichaa. Maybe he is really an overhyped lemon, or possibly an underutilised solid contributor who could be bought cheap.

I'd be happy with Rein at the right price

Not greatly interested in either. Would take Lichaa over Rein though. I'd prefer a rotation of Levi/Buhrer than either of them coming in.

For me it's the competition and experience. I think long term Levi has great potential, maybe even international potential. But to reach it I think u need some strong competition behind him. Both Rein and Lichaa are fringe first graders at worst so I don't mind the move to get either.

Randell would be a better choice for about the same money, or a bit less.
Brown has churned through about 5 or 6 hookers since he has been here, and never seems happy with any of them.

Would be content with Rein. Lichaa on the other hand, hell no. He's probably the worst hooker I've seen running around in a long time.

Look at the dragons when rein was playing. No attack at all. Pretty much the same side as last year. Look at the dogs attack. Its stale and can't score points either. It all starts at 9 so no deal to either of them for me.

I'd rather starling come out and do 20 minute stints as Levi looks good for 60. Once starling gets up too speed they can split the load easier.

Mozza , I am with you, I don't see the need for a hooker we have enough options already here without chasing more.
Priority should be for a experienced , controlling half , spending money frivolously only depletes the " war chest " unnecessarily.

Levi with Buhrer playing hooker for 10-20 is best but need a full time hooker for reserves at least for a year or two, let Starling develop.

I like but Guerra would start over any of those back rowers

We do need an extra hooker. Only have Levi & Starling, who might not be good enough. Buhrer if he doesn't return to the second-row. On the cheap either of them would be okay, I see Lichaa as the more risky option, but potentially greater gain too if he's being held back in Des' structure.

The worry for Lichaa was he looked ordinary prior for the Sharks in FG but that may have been an inexperience thing.

I'd be trying to get Zac Woolford out of his contract with Canterbury.
He was very impressive in NYC last year, and he'd have a place to stay in Newie I think.

Is he better than Starling as obviously not better than Licha, we do need another hooker to potentially cover 1st grade if injuries occur, has been known to happen.

He was a very dominant player in the Canberra side last year. He was real threat whenever he ran and didn't just run out of dummy half - he moved out to the halves and went for a run as well.
I'd rate him as better with the ball in hand than Starling, but not as good in defence and doesn't have the same motor. In NYC he was big enough to play in the forwards too, but I doubt he'd get away with that in NRL.
