Tend to agree with Ethan, something wrong in the chook house, Napa looks disinterested and overall results haven't been good for one of the favourites for this season. Cronk not making a huge difference, playing ok but, Tedesco yet to fire, they seem disjointed. Thinking they have lost a few players to us that might be affecting them, especially Pearce, maybe there is a bit of animosity to loosing him, he would be good mates with a lot of them with several years of top football still while Cronk is only for this year? Pressure of this year or rebuild.

If you can’t lift for a packed house Anzac Day clash then it’s not just because you’re unhappy at the club. More so you’re just not good enough.

Napa wanted to play for us this year and still wants to come next year.

I think he will be the consistent enforcer we need.

It could be the way the chooks did it with Pearce that has put a lot of players noses out of place too ...

Napa by far ..I reckon he was great mates with Pearce and got his nose out of joint with the way the chooks handled the whole Pearce , Cronk thing ...

I would give Napa a go because if he was happy here and came good with the Twins , Ese,ese , Ah Mau and maybe Glasby Geez yes please that pack would stand up to any pack in the comp ..

Im pretty sure hes contracted with the Rooters next year for around $700k.
His form since last year SOO doesnt deserve anywhere near that.
it would be good if you could guarantee he would play at his best lol.
Also will the Roosters let him go?

Roosters are playing a tenth as well as last year. Interesting to see Cronk flounder when not playing with his core of players his had his entire career, he has been poor and anything less than a gf win and his a backward step from pearce.

I just wish Pearce wasn’t injured and we kept winning and they kept losing.

How about the preliminary final last year? Wouldn’t even know he was playing if his name wasn’t on the team sheet. Well before all this heresay that he ain’t happy there.

Goes missing far to often in big games.

Napa doesn’t offer much in attack, never has, but he’s a hitman in defence. Unfortunately only being good at half the game doesn’t warrant a big pay packet. I’d take him, he’s not a complete zero in attack, he just doesn’t have a high work rate and doesn’t offer much impact. He’s just a big body that carts the ball up and down. Combine that with his strong defence which can definitely spark his team and help swing the momentum, that’s ok for a 3rd/4th front rower, but you don’t want to be paying him big bucks as your #1 big man.

    1) his Origin form, and 2) he was overpaid IMO.

3 games a year means sweet fa at club level. Attacking player this/that. Useless defender. Overpaid and overrated. I agree.

Market value still dictates our offer was reasonable and based off his form this year maybe a bit overs but still ok.

I imagine Sio, Ross, and Ramien’s salaries put together are probably not as much as Gaigai lol
